"Lucy & Matt are absolute gems!
They pet & house sat for us for a week whilst we were away. They took excellent care of our very energetic staffy with twice daily medications and daily walks. They sent regular updates and pup pics (at our request as we missed our pup very much!).
They are incredibly knowledgeable, reliable and professional and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet and/or house sitter.
This was our first time having a pet and house sitter and they put us at ease straight away. There’s nothing better than knowing you’re leaving your fur child in very capable and kind hands.
To top it off, was a lovely clean home to return to from our holiday.
Thank you so much Lucy & Matt!"

"I saw great reviews about Sarah so I booked her for a 3 night dog sit and she was absolutely awesome! From coming to meet our dog beforehand to arriving earlier on the day so our dog remembered her when we left to receiving cool photos and videos of their awesome daily beach walks and knowing she knew how to handle her at sleep time. Thank you Sarah for being such a wonderful dog sitter, would highly recommend your services again :)"

"Brandy was everything that we hoped for from a pet sitter.
She stayed in constant communication and sent through pictures daily, that we found very reassuring.
We have a Border Collie Cross and two cats. The Collie was very well exercised every day and the cats took to Brandy very well, even though one is extremely timid.
The house was in good hands and immaculate when we came home.
Thanks to Brandy, we were able to enjoy a much needed, long waited for, holiday without worrying about our pets or our home.
I can't recommend Brandy enough, and we would love to have her pet sit again for us again in the future.
Thanks Brandy,
Dan and Gina"

"Mit was a great pet sitter. Oreo and Bubbles were very well cared for they even received baths, and lots of grooming which they loved. Oreo also had to be medicated with strict instructions and procedures due to a bad eye infection he contracted just before we left and Mit was excellent with his care of Oreo and his eye treatments, also keeping me updated regularly. We will definitely use Mit’s services again in the future. "

"Came home after a week overseas to happy pets and a clean home! Darian and Kaitlyn took wonderful care of 3 dogs, an elderly cat and 3 pet pigs… dishing out walks, food, medicines and love as needed. Plus we got great updates/photos while we were away and really good communication if they were unsure of anything. Darian took a heap of time with our latest rescue dog and won her trust, which is not easy. Thanks again! "

Communication was excellent leading up to sitting and during. Tessa sent photos of Oci during the evening, which was appreciated.
The house was left immaculate when Tessa left.
Highly recommend. 5 stars all the way….
Thank you"

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Makarau home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Makarau.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Makarau home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
Pet owners book house sitting in Makarau on Pawshake. Over 621 pet owners in Makarau have left a review, with an average of 4.95/5. All paid safely using Visa, Mastercard, American Express
