"Sarah was absolutely fantastic in looking after our fur-babies and our property, and we would have no hesitation in asking her to do so again in future.
Both our dog and cat were taken care of perfectly - and judging from the frequent updates we received, spoiled rotten by Sarah! She also administered medication for our dog with no issues and provided copious cuddles.
Lastly, our property was spotless when we returned, which was awesome after the long drive home.
100% recommend Sarah! :)"

"Cassy, who works at our local vet clinic is an excellent big dog sitter. Her love of animals shines through in her attitude and diligence. Weka, my dog, absolutely loves her and as a social animal loves when Cassy visits her friends.
I do not hesitate in recommending Cassy as a dog sitter for the next fortunate pet. "

"Charlotte looked after our husky-shepherd mix dog Hazel for two nights while we were away. She was a great communicator, and clearly knows lots about animal psychology and befriended Hazel so quickly. Charlotte is lovely person to deal with, I would warmly recommend her as a petsitter. ☀️"

"It is my pleasure to recommend Edwina to care for your home and pets. We returned home to two happy doggos who were obviously loved and cuddled and shown much attention whilst we were away as well as a beautifully cared for house. It was so reassuring knowing my wee ones were being cared for in the best hands and kept company throughout the day. I received lots of photo updates which was really appreciated. "

"Jaclyn and Jack looked after our two Golden Retrievers and cat for two weeks while we were overseas. They did a great job; the dogs were content and the house tidy when we got home. It’s not always easy to manage two large dogs, but they had no issues, we got regular email updates and even homemade cookies when we got home! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, and would happily have them care for our pets again. "

"Brook was a great pet sitter found at short notice. She cared for my house and large dog, Weka, over the weekend. Weka was happy and the house was clean and tidy on my return. I wanted to use Brook again this weekend, but sadly she was busy. I'm sure if you avail yourselves of Brook you will be as satisfied as I am. 5 starts for Brook"AReview by Alex

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Auckland home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Auckland.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Auckland home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
Pet owners book house sitting in Auckland on Pawshake. Over 4014 pet owners in Auckland have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Visa, Mastercard, American Express
