Hi there, I'm Paris 

I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to offer some causal dog walking services throughout the week. With my current experience as a dog handler at a local Wellington dog daycare I can guarantee to provide top-notch care and make sure your pups have a paw-some time! 

I'm 23yrs old and currently live in Lowerhutt with my partner, our 2dogs and cat.  I've always had a strong interest in working with dogs &amp; utilise my spare time with meeting and walking different dogs! Growing up with dogs, and owning my own has taught me great animal responsibility. I own a 4yr old Huntaway Labrador × &amp; a 2yr old Border collie x. I am strongly invested in the well-being of my own dogs, socializing them, walking and training them to ensure they are receiving the care and commitment they need. Usually my days off consist of many adventures with my dogs, going on dog pack walks (with friends who have their own dog walking businesses) training where can, and walking friends &amp; clients dogs!!
What Excites me most about dog walking is that l'm able to build strong bonds with lots of other dogs as well as build connections with their owners!! I have the dedication and extreme interest as a dog walker &amp; would be grateful to be able to provide your pup with an enriching outing!!

I'd happily take your pup out for 30-1hr enriching outing depending on what you'd prefer. (We can go to the beach, a new park, bushwalk, or around the neighbourhood). 
I am confident walking all sizes &amp; have experience with dogs that are reactive/need more space/ leash reactivity.
I have a strong understanding of positive dog training reinforcement methods and am very patient &amp; assertive. I can work on a little leash work, basic obedience if desired! (Always carrying treats/ball with me as rewards)
I have my own transport and can offer pick up &amp; drop off services.

I love dogs and have two Bichon Frise pups of my own. I am a dog groomer with a Diploma in Grooming with a national certificate in Caring for Dogs as well. With a passion for dog I love caring and grooming dogs. I offer dog boarding and dog daycare in my own home. I have a fully fenced backyard with grassed area and a deck and patio. I also offer indoor space for dogs that prefer to be indoors. Recognising exercise is vital, I also offer dog walks. Happy to administer medication according to instructions as well. There is a dog door as well where dogs have access to a comfy sofa to lounge on if they prefer indoor space. Being able to work from home I can offer active supervision and care.&nbsp;
I prefer vaccinated and spayed/neutered pets only to ensure the safety of my two pups as well.&nbsp;
Looking after my two pups I am commited to providing them with the best life possible. I also hold a responsible dog owner status from the local council.&nbsp;

Are you looking for someone to take care of your pet, go for a fun walk or even stay with your pet in the comfort of your own house ?

My name is Luiz. I’m 29 yo living in Taita, Lower Hutt. I grew up dreaming to have a dog but as I always lived in apartments was not an option for me once I like the pets to be free. Fallowing my passion I used to walk my brother’s dogs every time that I could, feeding and treating them. My partner also have a dog in her hometown which we loved to spend time with him around the farm. Also, I took care of my friends Labrador quite a few times in Wellington, spending excellent time with him (as shown in the photos). 
I am happy to take any breed , size and gender.
Services:
- Dog Walking: between 30-40min walking (it can include running if required). I will record distance and time, and send it to you every walk.
- 1x or 2x Home visits per day: will spend some time with your pet, go for a walk (if required), feed and treat them. 
- House sitting: will stay in your home overnight, taking care of your loved one, keeping everything well organised and clean. Happy to watering your plants as well. 

I am a professional person working Monday to Friday (7am to 4pm) looking to help you when in need. I’m more than happy to pop in to meet you at your convenience.

Hello! I’m Petra Cui， I am originally from China and live in Lower hutt now,&nbsp;
In addition to personal pet ownership, I've helped friends by taking care of their two cats. Currently, I volunteer at the SPCA for adult dogs every week.
I kept a long-haired dachshund while I was studying in Europe and travelled around Europe with him, and now he lives with my family in China. So I have very extensive experience of flying with pets in and out of the EU and Asian countries. If you need help in this area, I am happy to offer my experience and advice. My goal now is to save up and bring my dog to New Zealand.&nbsp;
I'm on holiday at the moment so have lots of free time to spend with furry friends.I believe in the positive impact animals have on our lives, and I'm dedicated to ensuring their happiness and care.
Dog walking: My schedule is flexible during the day, so I can take your pet for a walk and enjoy the sunny weather. Each walk can last from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on how much your furry friend wants to play.&nbsp;
Home visits: This may involve basic tasks such as cleaning and watering flowers. Each visit can last from 40 to 60 minutes.
House sitting: This is about spending the night（including dinner and breakfast time ）with your furry friend and administering any medication that may be required. This also includes a 20-60 minute dog walk.  I'll make sure to stay home and keep  our furry friends company at least 17h per day（sorry for not 24h) as I also have some of my own daily routines that I need to take care of, like going to the gym.I will send you as many photos and videos as I can. I am trustworthy and will make sure your home is clean and tidy.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I am willing to meet in person before making any commitments. It is essential to ensure compatibility. I am excited to meet my new furry friends and explore the world together！&nbsp;


I have grown up in a family with many four legged furry bodies. We've had mice, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and horses. A house is not a home without an animal to share it. Once you have experienced the love and what an animal brings, its hard to be without one!I am originally from England, and moved here in October 2023. I currently work as an osteopath for humans, but have treated animals casually as well! I came to NZ for the lifestyle - for how accessible nature is here and the more relaxed pace. I love being immersed in nature, through tramping, swimming, or meditating in the sun.
When I finished school I worked and saved up my money then travelled through many countries for three years before settling at uni. When I was travelling I would use Workaway and some of the stays I did were looking after farm animals, and most often domesticated animals too.
Back in England, our family's 15 year old miniature daschund is flourishing in his twilight years.He has been with me for such a huge part of my lifetime it was incredibly difficult to say goodbye. Now I take every opportunity to spend time with animals I meet. Even if it's a friendly hello in the street for a tail wag, or if they are comfortable then getting closer for them to give me a sniff and sometimes even a little lick! Missing my sausage dog is part of why I have come onto Pawshake. As well as knowing how much more freedom it has given my family when someone is able to look after him if everyone has plans to go away.

My love for animals also plays a huge part. I have been raised on a lifestyle block, surrounded by animals galore &amp; pride myself on my love for them! I know that leaving your pets to travel or for work, for whatever reason actually, can be difficult &amp; I want to take as much of that worry away. I want you to be able to leave your pet at home with me &amp; trust that they are being loved as much as they are by you! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats of all moods &amp; the odd sheep, pig, cow and chicken! I am often rebooked to house &amp; pet sit because the loving care that I put into the animals &amp; looking after the home. It's a 2-part job after all &amp; nobody wants to come home to a trashed house &amp; unhappy animals! I am confident in my abilities handling animals &amp; understand what they need from me and what cues to pick up on when they might be uncomfortable etc.

My partner and I currently have a fluffy black and white cat called Bentley who we love to death along with my parents dog who tends to come and hang out sometimes! I've had previous experience feeding neighborhood cats and house sitting with family dogs when their owners go away.
