I’m Holly, and animals have always been a huge part of my life! Becoming a pet sitter feels very natural to me because caring for animals is something I genuinely love, not just something I do. I’ve always been the person friends and family trust to look after their pets, and I find so much happiness in making sure animals feel safe, settled, and loved when their owners are away. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I put a lot of care into building trust and creating a calm, comforting environment.

What I enjoy most about pet sitting is the connection. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, their little habits, and what makes them feel happy and secure. Whether that’s quiet cuddles, playful walks, or simply sticking closely to their usual routine, I tailor my care to each animal’s needs. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I always treat pets as if they were my own.

I have previous experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments as well as farm animals such as, chickens, sheep and cows, and I’m confident following instructions, maintaining routines, and giving lots of affection. Pet sitting allows me to do something meaningful every day, and I truly enjoy being someone pets feel comfortable and relaxed with. 

I understand that some dogs and cats need a little extra time and patience, especially if they’re shy or have their own unique ways of doing things. I take a calm, gentle approach and always move at their pace, giving them space to feel safe and comfortable. By paying close attention to their body language and routines, I build trust slowly and make sure they feel respected, relaxed, and cared for in a way that suits them best.
