Kia ora my name is Violet! I am a freelance writer/musician most of the time which means I lead a flexible schedule. I enjoy being out in nature, reading, walking, dancing and singing. Being with animals is always a calming and enjoyable part of my day.

I grew up in Queenstown/Tāhuna so I enjoy being around nature, good walking tracks and tranquility. I come from a family home that always had cats in it, and I constantly miss not having animals of my own (I move around a lot). I sometimes volunteer at the cat rescue, catering for new kittens. I have house sitting experience looking after dogs, cats, chickens and Guinea pigs. I'm comfortable walking all types of dogs and have a natural understanding of animals.

With house sitting, I especially enjoy the change of scenery. As a creative, it's inspiring and important to be in new, private spaces. I am available for dog walking, sitting and house stays. Dog walks are for a 30 minute walk.

I enjoy connecting with animals and having a moment to slow down and be more present alongside them.
