My name is Helen. I am originally from the UK and decided to visit New Zealand for a month of travel, which was almost 8 years ago! I have great passion for the outdoors and love having some company (that does not talk back). I have two Siberian Huskey's back in UK (well they are my parents' but when I am back they're mine) I miss having pets and dogs around me, they really do make a house a home. I have done plenty of housesitting for friends, friends of friends and for people on Facebook pet group pages. I am happy to provide references upon request and I thought I would set something up that was a little more official when it comes to pet sitting. I am very caring, a bit of a home body so some furry company is a bonus!&nbsp;

I'm a middle aged Wellintonian who has always loved animals.  I'm a father of two adult sons and I'm extremely passionate about sports and fitness.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I'm a qualified teacher (tertiary) and fitness professional and I recently decided to go down to part-time work, this gives me lots of flexibility for dog walks, homes visits or pet-sitting.  I've been a pet owner all my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters.  One of my favourite activities is to get out in nature and walk with a fury friend. Kia ora! My name is Claudia and I have just finished my degrees in law and commerce and am taking a break prior to starting full-time work in late February, in my spare time I love to crochet, read, and practise yoga. I am passionate about taking care and providing our animal pals with everything they need in order to be happy. I believe that animals get lonely sometimes (like humans!) and we want to be able to provide them with the best support both emotionally and physically. That's where I come in - I have previous experience looking after a variety of pets - I have previously had mice and dogs, and currently am the mother a very sweet (and sometimes fiesty) cat called Miso! Additionally, I am a kind, compassionate and respectful person who will endeavour to meet your furry pals needs and respect the boundaries of your household. Overall, I have extensive experience looking after a range of animals and am a loving and respectful person. 
My services
1. Home visits 
During home visits I am able to come to your house and give your pet half an hour of quality time alongside feeding your pet. I offer either x1 or x2 visits a day depending on your needs! I am open to spending more than half an hour at these visits, but it would be best to contact me prior. 
2. Dog walking 
As an active person, I am capable of walking your dog up to 2 hours (if you have an especially active doggo!). I am comfortable with walking a dog on a lead and following the pace of your furry pal. Up to an hour, my rate is $25.00. However, if you are looking for a longer walk (1+ hours) I am more than happy to do this but I charge a flat rate per hour of $25.00 which I believe is a fair price as it is $1 below the current living wage. 
3. House sitting 
While house sitting I will be present for 24 hours to tend to your doggos needs - food, water, bathroom, and play! I am a tidy and respectful person who will follow the rules of your home, I understand that everyone has different and unique ways of running their house and I endeavour to respect this! For example, in my flat I have a strict shoes off policy which I tell visitors and expect them to respect. 
4. Additional services
I am able to pick and drop off your pet to your home as I have my full license and access to a car. 


I have always loved animals, however not having pets of my own means I don't get to spend as much time with them as I'd like. I miss spending time around cats and dogs. I also grew up with other animals such as cows and chickens, so I'm comfortable with all kinds of animals!
I've been using Pawshake on and off for a few years now and I love walking, feeding, and entertaining people's pets to make sure they are happy and content while their owners are away or busy :)
I love visiting my parent's fox terrier Sunny, taking him for daily walks, and giving him a lot of cuddles. On occasion take care of my friend's toy Schnauzer, Gruff who lives in the area. He is an energetic young puppy with a lot of character! I always enjoy spending time with him. While I cannot take care of animals at my flat as my landlord does not allow pets, I would love to take animals for walks, or just visit/look after them at their own home.
I would love the opportunity to hang out with some little furry friends while I'm in London. While I look after your animals, they will have 100% of my care and attention! I love all types and breeds of dogs, cats, bunnies and other animals.


Hey  We are Hannah (31) originally from the UK and Aaron (34) from NZ. Aaron owns his own business and Hannah works in Government. We are home owners, but rent out our property. We know what is expected when looking after someone's house as well as their pets.
Most importantly we are pet parents to our doggo Rupert. Rupert is our baby, we love taking him for walks, playing with him, cuddles and dote on his every need. 
We want to become pet sitters, as we understand how hard it is for you to find someone who you can trust to look after your loved one, when you are away. We want to extend our services to help others when they need the support and would love Rupert to have a companion. 
Aaron and I will are flexible, we are happy to come and dog/cat sit at your house so not to impact your pet. I work from home a number of days a week so will be able to provide your pet with company throughout the day. On the weekends we will be with the pets throughout the day e.g going for long walks to the park or at the beach and chilling at home.

Hi, My name is Tania, I'm a 48-year-old woman who enjoys taking care of all sorts of animals. I have cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, iguanas and chickens.
This year I cared for my sister's pack of marvellous misfits; Pepper, her first and oldest dog with hip issues; Roxy, the middle dog; Merle Nala, her 3-month-old puppy and her gorgeous 13-year-old iguana named Luke. Caring for them reminded me how much I miss having pets. For the past eight months, I have been pet-sitting abroad and want to do more at home. It's been great getting to know the different personalities of different pets. Some lovely pets I've cared for include a fancy Chinchilla cat, a Welsh Terrier, a French Bulldog huge rescue with Bull Mastive in the mix, a beautiful Pomeranian ex-show dog and a Siamese fighting fish.
Growing up, we had dogs, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens. My aunt and uncle owned a pet shop, so I have hand reared rejected bird chicks, fed the reptiles live crickets and cleaned cockatoo cages. There aren't many animals that I'm not comfortable around.
About me:
I am a business contractor primarily working with government agencies, so I have a mix of working in the office and working from home. Happy to look after your puppies on the weekend but with my work schedule I may need to spend an 8-hour day in the office. I am looking for the occasional house-sitting job because I love having a pet but can't currently care for one long-term. I have to remain nimble in case my Mom, who lives in Canada, needs me to help her with the odd health issue. As much as I'd love a pet, I will continue caring for yours for now. 
I understand that every animal is unique and has their preferred routines. I will learn them so your pets feel as little disruption as possible.
