I am experienced looking after a range of animals including, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, sheep and other animals you might find on a lifestyle block! I have lived rurally until the last few years but I still have involvement in my parents place. I am very experienced with horses in particular.
 I have my own cat and my family has always had dogs. We have also always had chickens, sheep etc. I have years of experience with all the animals I have listed- and have always and will always have animals in my life!
I would love to look after your special pets, I miss having plenty of my own, being on a town section now! You can expect a high level of care and love from me. I have a house of my own so would strive to look after your pets at your place! I am respectful and work full time in the environmental/ conservation sector.
I am happy to come to your home and look after your pets, or walk dogs if they are close-ish to me. I'm in central Dunedin.
I'm available in the evening! And by arrangement can be available during the morning and afternoon! Weekends I am free too. Happy to work with you around what suits.
I can stay with pets as long as required and am happy to help with other tasks such as watering plants indoor/outdoor- collecting mail etc.
For dog walking I am happy to walk local to your place or take dogs out - can be discussed.
In terms of longer term house sitting- I am able to stay around at your place/ potentially work from home depending on the supervision required.

I am a enthusastic animal lover! I have looked after/owned animals from Rabbits, to Dogs, to Cats, to Fish! My experience mainly revolving around dogs. I have been through my whole life, constantly having a furry friend around the house. Animals provide myself and my family with so much love. My family has an incredibly friendly senior German Short-Haired Pointer who has recently lost her eyes to glaucoma! From this, I have experience administering oral medication to dogs, as well as eye drops, but am happy to learn others if necessary. 
I'm a 4th year student at the University of Otago studying Psychology and Finance, arriving in Dunedin mid-feb for the uni year. I would love to walk your dogs or offer my pet sitting services! My motivation for creating a pawshake account is to get my much needed animal-time while I am away from my own dog.
In my youth, my progression in finding a job began with me running a small community dog walking service which I absolotely loved doing until I transitioned into a part-time job alongside school. I continued doing community based dog walking and dog sitting on the side more as a hobby. I have dog sat for several clients prior to pawshake, and always look forward to my experiences with new animals.

My name is Rosa. I am a passionate animal enthusiast who genuinely loves caring for all pets big and small. Although I am currently a full time primary school teacher, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been involved in the animal industry for over 8 years now and counting. My experiences include working in a puppy daycare and cattery, as well as being a receptionist in veterinary hospitals. When I am not in the classroom, I am also the Adoption Coordinator for Cat Rescue Dunedin. Being part of rescue work means I have also fostered hundreds of kittens over the years, many of which were bottle fed around the clock. It's a tough job, but such a rewarding experience it holds a very special place in my heart.
Dog walking is second nature to me, and I really enjoy getting out and about. When walking my own dog I like to go for a good hour to get that exercise in, but can work around what suits your dog! I can stay around your neighbourhood, or have a car to transport them to a beach or park if that is what they would prefer.
I share my life with 3 of my own fur-babies: Nina, an energetic Cavoodle, Simba, my ginger cat who thinks he is human, and Hermione, my super affectionate girl kitty. With these three ruling the roost, I am not able to board your pets at my own place, but more than happy to visit your pets or house sit in your home. I am happy to handle medications, stick to feeding plans and any additonal needs your pets may need. If you have any chickens, sheep, horses or goats that need fed in addition to your cats and dogs, rest assured I have them covered too! I understand all too well how stressful it can be to go away leaving your pets with someone that's not yourself. I can guarantee your pets will be treated like my own. I will love them and genuinely care for them, making sure they are happy and well. I always send plenty of photo updates and communicate often for your peace of mind.
