Growing up on a lifestyle property in a rural area has provided me with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience caring for a diverse range of animals. From the smallest guinea pigs and rabbits to horses, sheep, and cows, my upbringing instilled in me a deep understanding of their needs, behaviors, and the importance of their well-being.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets like possums. Each encounter has strengthened my passion for ensuring that animals receive the best possible care and attention, even when their owners are away.

Hi, I'm Emma and I am a reliable and trustworthy student living in Dunedin.
I have been around animals my whole life. I currently have two cute cats and I have a lot of experience looking after dogs and other smaller animals such as cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, as I've owned them all in the past. I am comfortable looking after your pets and will give them all the love they need
I am a keen walker so am very happy to walk your dog every day. When feeding your pets each time I visit I will feed the animal, check the house for anything unusual, clear mail and stay with your pet for 30min. I will ensure that I lock all doors and turn on an alarm (if any) after leaving the house.
When house sitting I am happy to stay at your home overnight to ensure that the animals feel safe and are not left alone. I will clear your mailbox for you &amp; watch over your home. In addition to caring for your pet(s), I am also happy to look out for the property and any household plants while you're away.
My job is very flexible so will most likely to be able to fit your needs to my schedule, but do get in touch to see if I can make your requirements work.

Hello! I live in Mosgiel with my partner and our two dogs, Tari and Moss, who are both very friendly.
We have both grown up with a range of animals and love having them around. The girls love company and are happy to share their space. They have access to both inside and outside as they please.
We both work full time, and have great flexibility (WFH options) which allows us to work around the needs of the animals when required. We live an active life outside of work and are often out on adventures or at the park, but also enjoy some time to chill out at home. The girls love to play, and snoozing in the sun.
The backyard has plenty of room to run around, and is fully fenced. There is also a separate room out there which we leave open to provide shade and/or shelter.
Tari: 2yrs old, female, fixed and fully vaccinated.
Moss: 6months, female, not fixed (yet) and fully vaccinated.

I am experienced looking after a range of animals including, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, sheep and other animals you might find on a lifestyle block! I have lived rurally until the last few years but I still have involvement in my parents place. I am very experienced with horses in particular.
 I have my own cat and my family has always had dogs. We have also always had chickens, sheep etc. I have years of experience with all the animals I have listed- and have always and will always have animals in my life!
I would love to look after your special pets, I miss having plenty of my own, being on a town section now! You can expect a high level of care and love from me. I have a house of my own so would strive to look after your pets at your place! I am respectful and work full time in the environmental/ conservation sector.
I am happy to come to your home and look after your pets, or walk dogs if they are close-ish to me. I'm in central Dunedin.
I'm available in the evening! And by arrangement can be available during the morning and afternoon! Weekends I am free too. Happy to work with you around what suits.

My name is Rosa. I am a passionate animal enthusiast who genuinely loves caring for all pets big and small. Although I am currently a full time primary school teacher, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been involved in the animal industry for over 8 years now and counting. My experiences include working in a puppy daycare and cattery, as well as being a receptionist in veterinary hospitals. When I am not in the classroom, I am also the Adoption Coordinator for Cat Rescue Dunedin. Being part of rescue work means I have also fostered hundreds of kittens over the years, many of which were bottle fed around the clock. It's a tough job, but such a rewarding experience it holds a very special place in my heart.
Dog walking is second nature to me, and I really enjoy getting out and about. When walking my own dog I like to go for a good hour to get that exercise in, but can work around what suits your dog! I can stay around your neighbourhood, or have a car to transport them to a beach or park if that is what they would prefer.
I share my life with 3 of my own fur-babies: Nina, an energetic Cavoodle, Simba, my ginger cat who thinks he is human, and Hermione, my super affectionate girl kitty. With these three ruling the roost, I am not able to board your pets at my own place, but more than happy to visit your pets or house sit in your home. I am happy to handle medications, stick to feeding plans and any additonal needs your pets may need. If you have any chickens, sheep, horses or goats that need fed in addition to your cats and dogs, rest assured I have them covered too! I understand all too well how stressful it can be to go away leaving your pets with someone that's not yourself. I can guarantee your pets will be treated like my own. I will love them and genuinely care for them, making sure they are happy and well. I always send plenty of photo updates and communicate often for your peace of mind.
