From my earliest memories, dogs have been an irreplaceable part of my life, their presence woven into the very fabric of my identity. Over the years, I have been privileged to extend my love for dogs into a fulfilling vocation—engaging in pet-sitting, training, and grooming of numerous canines from diverse breeds and backgrounds.

Not only is my affection for dogs a personal sentiment, but it is also backed by professional credentials. I hold a certification in dog training, a qualification that allows me to offer a comprehensive suite of services to your cherished pet, ranging from basic obedience to advanced skills and behavioral adjustments. This ensures that your dog will receive not just emotional nourishment, but also intellectual and physical stimulation under my care.

Recently, I have embarked on a new chapter of my life by moving to New Zealand. While this journey is incredibly exciting, it has temporarily separated me from my own canine companion who currently resides in Canada. As he makes the transition to join me, I find myself yearning for the comforting presence of dogs. It would bring me immense joy to offer my services to pet owners here, providing me with the invaluable opportunity to be around these lovable creatures during this period of personal transition.

Home:

We live in a 4 bedroom house, detached and with a backyard. We have parks close by and lots of time and space to care for your fur baby. 

Greeted with open arms and a very warm welcome as one of the family, your beloved pup will feel 'home away from home' in no time. I work from home so your furbaby and I will spend the whole time together (with Marco the soft and kind mastiff and Luka the gentle greyhound), they'll never feel lonely! I keep it cosy, with only 1 or 2 visiting pups at a time, so I am able to offer you a boutique service with personalised care, customised to your cherished friend's personality and needs. One on one attention, one on one love.

&nbsp;Our special requests for visiting dogs: must to be cat tolerant. walk well on a lead and be social in public if you would like them to go out on on-leash walks (no dragging or full-strength pulling please) and be well socialised with other dogs.

&nbsp;My partner and I are both life long animal lovers. Over the years, we've happily sharied our world with all creatures great and small: cats, dogs, mice, rats, tree frogs, caterpillars, fish, birds and horses, they have all been cherished and adored. I am a foster carer for the SPCA and yes, more than one tear has been shed when it's time to say "adios". Our greyhound, Luka is a certified Canine Therapy Dog and is gentle, patient and sweet. Our yard is fully fenced and secure.

&nbsp;I love getting to know the individual personalities of your pets and catering their care and activities accordingly. I offer full time cuddles and love in a warm, safe, household setting. If your pup is of the bouncier sort we have a variety of fun and play, exciting outdoor adventures such as swims, bush, farm and beach walks, as well as car rides to new and exciting places. If your pup is more reserved, I provide a tranquil haven where they can feel comfortable, loved and protected.

Hi there, my name is Greta and I’m a 32-year-old woman. 
I absolutely adore animals! I currently work as a dog walker in Central and west auckland. I'm looking to extend my services to include pet focused work. I love the idea of personalised home-care for pets and am able to offer that for your family (in there home). 
MY BACKGROUND I have several years’ experience in doggy day cares and animal rescue centres. I have volunteered &amp; worked overseas in rescue programmes in Asia and the Pacific region, including managing the SPCA branch in Rarotonga throughout 2018/19. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Psychology, and have worked extensively in both mental health and disability support services. I have a keen community spirit and am eager to build upon this with our city’s animal whānau. 
MY SKILLS &amp; SERVICES I hold a full driver license and a clean police record, and can provide current references. I can offer walks around your area or expeditions further afield at the many pet-friendly forests, parks, and beaches that Auckland hold. I can give walks between 45 minutes to an hour and had half or longer max twice daily This is all depending on dogs needs and what the owner would like. I can also do extra enrichment for them as this can be very stimulating. 
I would not leave dogs longer then 3 hours in owners homes (would discuss what is best suited with owners)
Giving your pet a thrilling and exciting adventure with the benefit of a structured and tailored experience is my primary focus. Both 1:1 and group sessions are available, as well as support with behaviour training and techniques. I currently work part-time and can supply a live calendar with booking options; morning, afternoon, and overnight sessions are possible pending availability, and can be provided in my own home or yours.

Hello! I am currently studying a degree in natural medicine and have been pet sitting/ dog walking for 2 years now. I was lucky enough to grow up with a variety of different animals such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rats. Having previously worked in a pet store for two years and working with farm animals for about three, I have a wide variety of knowledge and experience with animals of all sizes. 
I have a passion for the outdoors and have many hobbies such as hiking, surfing and snowboarding. I absolutely love to go for dog walks and very much enjoy spending my spare time amongst nature and connecting with animals. My current schedule is revolved around university lectures which is from 9am-2pm Tuesday-Friday, which means I can take your dog for morning walks and afternoon/evening outings. I am off from Saturdays-Mondays. 
I have had a wide variety of pet sitting experience including puppies from 5 months old, dogs with anxiety e.g separation anxiety/ fear around other dogs and elderly dogs requiring frequent monitoring and administration of medication. I am also very comfortable around cats, small animals and larger farm animals.

I have always been an animal lover and have had two dogs, one cat, birds, a turtle and a rabbit since my childhood. I still have an American shorthair cat named Chubby back home. I used to work with Spareleash (a pet sitter company in Shanghai) for 3 years in Shanghai and absolutely enjoyed the experience. I'm Elnaz, I'm 26 and I work as an Occupational Therapist at the Mason Clinic. 
Myself, my partner and friend all moved to Huapai only in October. We're planning on doing a big OE in a year or two, so I can't commit to getting pets of my own at the moment. Hence why I'd love to look after others' pets in the meantime. 
I've had various dogs growing up including a chihuahua, pit bull mix and a huntaway, so I have experience with different types of dogs. I also walked a couple of dogs regularly when I lived in Christchurch about 5 years ago. 
Beside dogs, I've also had pet cats, frogs, turtles, rats and birds. My parents still have my childhood cat Bruno and dog Ralph who I pet sit every now and then. 
I am currently on summer break so my schedule is very flexible. Depending on your schedule, we should be able to work something out. 
I might be able to pick up your pet depending on how far you are. If you're more than 10 minutes from me there may just be a surcharge to account for fuel costs. 
If your dog is a large breed, I will only do 1 on 1 walks. However, with small dogs I can take 2 at a time. This is to make sure each dog gets the care and time they deserve as well as increase safety in the event of an emergency. 
If you're after a pet sitter, I can also be of assistance. Depending on your location I may be able to pet sit at your house including feeding, walking &amp; toileting. Depending on your pet they may be able to stay with me for short stays. We live in a 2 story townhouse with a small deck and lots of parks around.
