Hello! My name is Jenna, I work full time and live in Waihī.&nbsp;
I love all animals and have owned a range of pets such as dogs, cats, fish, geckos, fish, and mice! I also have professional experience with animals from working at a wildlife park where I was lucky enough to work with native birds, trout and other farm animals (such as sheep, pigs, deer, and goats). I lived and studied in Dunedin for 4 years where I volunteered with a local dog rescue charity by fostering pound dogs until their forever homes were found. Through this experience, I have met and cared for a range of dogs from 12 weeks old to 10+ years old. It has provided me with experience with many dog breeds and personalities too! Fostering was very rewarding and I loved to be able to help these dogs have a second chance.&nbsp;
Services I can offer:
As I work full time cannot offer walking or house visits during the day, but can visit outside of business hours (before and after work), or during the weekends and public holidays. I can give medication, and do basic grooming (nails and brushing) if requested!&nbsp;
For my house-sitting service: I'll stay overnight with your pet, ensuring they receive lots of love and attention while you're away. Feeding, cleaning (toileting trays etc.), and walking is included.&nbsp;
For dog walking: Depending on your dog's needs, I can adapt the walk I take them on. As I have cared for older dogs, I'm able to notice behavioural changes when they have had enough or may be getting sore. I am also a keen hiker, so can take your dog on a longer adventure if this is what they need. Otherwise, a nice stroll around the streets, to the park, or down at the beach is possible too.
House visits: Time spent with your pet will vary slightly based on my schedule, but I will ensure your pet is fed, and receives love and pats (if they want them!). I can spend a minimum of 30 mins per visit (give or take).&nbsp;
I signed up to be a pet sitter as I believe I am trustworthy, caring and experienced with many different animals. I use to offer these services when I was a student in Dunedin and I really enjoyed meeting new people and their pets. I want to provide a safe and trustworthy service for people who want to leave their pets in good hands, as this is what I look for with my own dog when I go away.&nbsp;
It is hard enough to leave our pets behind when we go away, but knowing your pet will be well cared for makes it that little bit easier! I always aim to send daily updates and pictures when I can.

Hello! I'm a dedicated and dependable animal lover who enjoys keeping busy and active. I understand how important it is to know your furry family members are safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you're away. I pride myself on providing attentive, compassionate care, ensuring the needs of every pet are met with warmth and love. 

I have experience caring for dogs, cats and rabbits of all ages and enjoy looking after them while their owners are away. I don’t have any pets of my own but am a huge animal lover so I will care for your pets as if they were my own. 

At this stage I’m not able to offer pet stays at my house, however I’d be more than happy to walk your dog wherever it suits them best and care for your pets at their own home. I can cater for the needs of all dogs and other pets, particularly if they have specific walking and feeding needs just let me know your preferences! I see myself as a responsible, caring and animal loving person. With pleasure I will also keep you up to date with photo's and messages of your pets.&nbsp;I really care about your pets being taken care of in their own environment so you're able to go away to work, for the day or maybe even a few days. For that I'd like to help where I can, give them my full attention, cuddle and play with them, go on walks, feed them and clean the litterbox if needed.I've had experience with cats all my life, from when I was young we had cats, my close family and neighbours had cats and we still have two cuties at home for which are really well taken care of. I also have experience with caring for a dogs, taking them out on walks and play with them. Next to caring for our own cat's and dog I've done pet sitting of cats and dogs in my home country and also here in New Zealand.
