Hi, my name is Melvina and I am 21 years old. I am currently a third year studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Otago. 
I love animals and have grown up around cats, dogs and bunnies! Unfortunately, since I'm flatting we are not allowed pets of our own. So I'd greatly appreciate the chance to spend time with your furry friends while you're away and get my daily dose of cuteness! 
I am available mostly in the evenings as I have uni and in the weekends. I am available for various pet care services, including cat sitting, dog walking and home visits. I can provide 30 minutes to 1 hour walks and do home visits to check up on your pets. During the home visits I can feed your pets and play with them.

I have degrees in Zoology/Geography and Ecology and currently is studying marine science. I'm volunteering with dog rescue Dunedin as a "case manager" to coordinate dogs and potential foster/adoption homes. And we foster dogs sometimes at my current place, including a few with behaviour issues.
I also have experience fostering cats from SPCA, as well as having rabbits of my own. 
My availability is flexible, although preferably pet sitting at the owner's place rather than boarding as we currently have rabbits and often dogs. Day care at the owner's place is available.

My name is Samantha and I am currently studying at university. I've spent my whole life around animals growing up with 7 dogs, 5 cats, multiple hamsters and marine animals in the house, so I've grown to love animals of all sizes. I have joined pet sitter to try and make some extra money to go towards funding for my studies. I love going for walks with my dogs and playing games with the cats, so rest assured your pet will get plenty of exercise with me. I am very reliable and will make sure that your loved animals wilol get plenty of love while you are away. 
I am happy to care for unvaccinated animals, so long as they are people-friendly. As I am living in shared accommodation I am unable to take larger animals such as cats and dogs into my home, but I am happy to do house visits/stays to care for them.&nbsp;
I am quite flexible and will work around your furry friends to give them the best care possible! I am fully aware that each pet has its only quirks and requirements that comes with them so we can discuss this as needed! I will make sure your pets feel comfortable and at ease while you are out the house. I am comfortable giving constant supervision however this will be discussed on a case to case basis as my university schedule may not align.
As I am staying in Dunedin South, I may request travel cover for longer trips (over 30 minutes there and back) as a means to cover petrol costs  
For more active animals I am happy to take them on walks and/or runs to make sure they aren't buzzing with energy at night.

Hi There!
I am a enthusastic animal lover! I have looked after/owned animals from Rabbits, to Dogs, to Cats, to Fish! My experience mainly revolving around dogs. I have been through my whole life, constantly having a furry friend around the house. Animals provide myself and my family with so much love. My family has an incredibly friendly senior German Short-Haired Pointer who has recently lost her eyes to glaucoma! From this, I have experience administering oral medication to dogs, as well as eye drops, but am happy to learn others if necessary. 
I'm a 4th year student at the University of Otago studying Psychology and Finance, arriving in Dunedin mid-feb for the uni year. I would love to walk your dogs or offer my pet sitting services! My motivation for creating a pawshake account is to get my much needed animal-time while I am away from my own dog.
In my youth, my progression in finding a job began with me running a small community dog walking service which I absolotely loved doing until I transitioned into a part-time job alongside school. My name is Elisabeth! I am offering dog walking/ pet sitting services in the Anderson Bay/ Dunedin area.
I would be charging a rate of $15 per 30 minutes close to your home and $30 for longer beach/ track. Discounted rates for multiple weekly walks, and for group walks but that would depend on the dog/family needs. Happy to walk privately or with other dogs. I have a vehicle so I can take dogs to the beach and local parks or trails. I'm also available for house/pet sits in occasion so let me know if you are planning on a getaway and need someone to look after your home and pets while you are away. Rates available upon requests.
I am familiar with many breeds and comfortable with all sizes as i grew up on a family dogs with many dogs. Willing to meet any canine as long as they are not aggressive. Hello! My name is Ellen, I'm 23 and a university student. I am a massive animal lover, and I had the privelage of growing up with many pets including multiple cats, a collie and a golden retriever (not all at once!). Since leaving home I feel like I have been so deprived of time with furry friends so would absolutely love for the opportunity to get to spend some time with your beloved pets. My primary motivation for pet sitting and dog walking is to get to spend some more time with animals as I really miss it while I'm at univeristy!
I can promise that I would treat your pets like they are my own, as I know it can be stressful leaving your animals when you go away. I've always loved getting little updates about my animals when I'm away so I am happy to send photos and any other updates you might like while you're gone.
While this may be my first time formally working as a pet sitter, I have plenty of experience caring for pets - my own, those of friends and family, and animals of the families that I have nannied for. These experiences have taught me to recognise the distinct, and unique personalities, preferences and needs of each pet.

I'm a 26 year old working professional. I work and live in Dunedin as a builder and music tech. 
I'm a sucker for animals, and a bit of a softy. I have grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and fish. 
I also have two cats of my own (Podge and Bear), who are the best. 
I work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, but outside of these hours I would love to spend some more time with animals and take care of them while you are on holiday or working. I am happy to dog walk (I have owned big dogs, and am comfortable with them), feed your pets, or do house visits to check in on them while you are away. I have two animals at my own house, so I can't look after them here, but I can come to your house to pet sit.

I have been around animals my whole life. I currently have two cute cats and I have a lot of experience looking after dogs and other smaller animals such as cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, as I've owned them all in the past. I am comfortable looking after your pets and will give them all the love they need
I am a keen walker so am very happy to walk your dog every day. When feeding your pets each time I visit I will feed the animal, check the house for anything unusual, clear mail and stay with your pet for 30min. I will ensure that I lock all doors and turn on an alarm (if any) after leaving the house.
When house sitting I am happy to stay at your home overnight to ensure that the animals feel safe and are not left alone. I will clear your mailbox for you &amp; watch over your home. In addition to caring for your pet(s), I am also happy to look out for the property and any household plants while you're away.

I sometimes I find it difficult to express how much animals mean to me in terms of how happy they make me feel just by looking at them, and how joyful they make me feel when I see them happy. From a young age, I have known to be constantly surrounded by animals. I grew up in the country of Timaru where we had multiple horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs and a few fish so I never got bored as a child out in the country because I had heaps of company.&nbsp;
This upbringing I had with animals inspired me to pursue a career in helping and caring for animals and I am currently over halfway through my degree studying Zoology at Otago University. In my time down here, which is roughly 9 hours away from my animals at home I have dearly missed my pets therefore, I took the opportunity to be surrounded by animals again by starting volunteering at the SPCA here in Dunedin. This experience has been eye-opening to see how much people at the SPCA really do to ensure the safety of animals and put all their efforts into making sure deserted, lost, and uncherished animals find a forever home where they will be forever adored which is exactly what I want to do. My love for animals really sprung from my parents and sister as they all care a lot about animals and brought me up in a household filled with them, so I have them to thank for that.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I am open to dog walking as I am a fit person who loves to walk/run. Can walk for as long as needed and can walk more than one dog. I can home visit upto 2 times a day and spend nessacarry time with animals such as dogs, cats and other small animals and do any other required activities with them. I am also possibly open to house sitting, depending on the situtation. I am capable of administering oral medication as I have had experience with my own pets. I can take doggy day care as I can drive and take them to areas for running/walking around and provide a fun and exciting day for them.
