I'm 39 years old, a new qualified vet nurse who has been part timely working in veterinary clinics for over a year, also worked in doggy daycare previously. I have been living in this beautiful country for over 7 years, and involved in many conservation projects as my passion.
I love animals and have my own dog, just wanted some changes for life and learn more about animals, so took the veterinary nursing course in Unitec, and fortunately got some experience in practical. I'm a reliable and hard working person, also very fit and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, I would love to take your fur babies for a good walk.

We have a fully fenced house in Stanmore bay with 2 gardens and a gate, fully dog proof! I'm home 24/7 also so your pet won't be left for long hours.&nbsp;

Services -
Dog walking - 1 hours walk at on of the local beaches, including pick up and drop off and basic training measures. I can do 1:1 walking if you prefer, or I can do group walking with my other clients. 
Pet sitting- Over night stays at my house. Walks, feeding, medication administered (if need), if you need anything else I'm very flexible. No time frame for pick up or drop off. I only can up to 2 weeks max per dog at a time, if you need longer, happy to discuss.
Doggy day care - Run from my house, this includes walks, feeding if needed, lots of play time and cuddles. No time frame on drop off/pick up. Happy to also pick up your pet for an extra cost. 
Cat feeding/dog feeding - done from your house, I will pop by and feed your cat/dog while you're away, or out for the day. I will spend about 20-30 minutes doing this, and give your baby some attention and cuddles too while I'm there. Happy to water plants, bring in mail, or anything else you need. 



Kia Ora, my name is Dallas and I love animals. I have always grown up surrounded by animals from Guinea pigs and rabbits to fish to budgies. We have always had cats and dogs too! Animals have always made me happy and since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a vet or a zoo keeper or maybe Dr Dolittle haha. Unfortunately that didn't happen, I moved to Auckland from Whangārei for university, studying a Bachelor of Education but then I soon realised that I wanted to travel more than anything so now I work in a early childhood centre saving up for all my backpacking trips. 
I have my full NZ drivers license so I will be able to take your dogs on walks at the beach or at parks (whatever which may be their favourite)
Unfortunately, as I am currently flatting I won't be able to have your pets at my home but I will be able to come to yours! I will feed your animals and clean out their cages if need be and I will give them lots of cuddles and affection.

I have a strong love for dogs and their well-being and have had prior experience looking after friends ones before because I am eager to help out. I am limited to a wheelchair as I'm a paraplegic but that has never stopped me from being independent and taking on challenges - I can handle energetic dogs no bigger than the size of a Labrador. I also used to live on a farm where I had to look after many different kinds of animals so I understand many pets have unique requirements and personalities and I'm always keen to learn how to cater in their best interest. I will do everything I can to give the proper care and concern to the pets I am held responsible for. I can give basic medication to pets, wash and brush them if needed and will devote my time to making sure they're entertained and comforted by me. During daycare/boarding, when staying at an owners house or my own, I can stay with the dogs for the entire duration (this can be over 24 hours). I won't leave them alone at all and can help out with basic house needs if necessary, like watering plants or light cleaning etc. I'm on summer break for university so I don't have any commitments to make when looking after pets, meaning I'm also available during most days of the week if given prior notice. This means I can be available morning, afternoon and night whether looking after the pet at my own home or the owners. I can board up to two dogs and take them on multiple walks a day for longer than an hour. If I'm staying at an owners house, however, I will need to ensure there is a flat area near by for me to walk them. I currently live at home with my parents and sister who is 18, so there won't be any kids in the house. We also have two small dogs and a cat who are very friendly and should be fine staying with other dogs who are of the same nature. Since we have two dogs our entire backyard is fully fenced off with gates that are always locked. There isn't too much space to run around for a fairly big dog, but a little dog would suit well. I love taking care of animals and can ensure I will keep them safe during their stay!

These are the expected pick up and drop off times unless discussed otherwise prior to booking. 
If drop off or pick up is outside of these hours and hasn't been discussed prior to booking a half day cost of $25 will be incurred. 

I am currently studying a Certificate of Canine behaviour and training through Unitec. While this is my first formal learning of Canine behaviour and training before starting this I have done many shorter online trainings through different avenues.&nbsp;
I have been in the retail pet industry for the last 4 years so have a wide knowledge on a variety of pets.&nbsp;
I have grown up around dogs mainly working farm dogs and am fortunate to now have two dogs of my own. For the last 4 years I've been training my eldest dog for competitive obedience and agility and really enjoy the bonding time I have with each dog during training.
I have decided to offer myself and space for pet sitting services as while having my dogs have often been the one looking for someone to care for my dogs while away so am aware of how hard this can be and the importance of finding someone that you trust with your dog!&nbsp;
I'm happy to take dogs into my home that are vaccinated, up to date with flea tick and worm treatment (this is important due to being rural) good with other dogs, and crate trained.&nbsp;
**A meet a greet prior to any dog boarding is a must.**
While your dog is in my care they will be treated as if they were my own. They will receive different forms of enrichment while at home such as Licki mats, kongs, shredding or puzzles and will also be receiving walks the same as my dogs would get, with weekends being slightly longer walks and more adventurous.&nbsp;
Im happy to ensure any medical needs are met such as medication, ensuring dietary restrictions are maintained and if required washing after any adventures if prone to skin allergies.
Im fortunate to live on 2 acres of private land, while also only being a short drive away from the beach! We are also frequent use of riverhead forest which will be used for walks. 
We will only take on a maximum of 2 boarding dogs at time due to space and to ensure all needs are met of each dog. Most boarding will be weekends due to being able to be with the dogs as during the week I have to work if you require longer this can be arranged however they maybe left alone for a longer period of time this will all be discussed prior. 
Our household is made up of myself and partner and our 2 dogs!!
Boarding dogs will be required to sleep in their crates during night however as long as they’re clean are allowed on all furniture during the day time (if dirty they will be cleaned).&nbsp;
Our backyard is fully fenced with the lowest part being 7 wire farm fencing, however this has chicken mesh on it so there wont be any escaping!

My services as pet minder/pet sitter is to visit your home once a day to tend to all your pet(s)' needs, which will always include pet feeding, filling up their water bowls and off course lots of attention and reassurance!
