Wānaka local for the past 5 years, working a standard work week as a kitchen designer and very keen to spend some of my spare time with four-legged friends!

I’ve always loved dogs, but renting means I’m not quite ready to have one of my own, so pet sitting feels like the perfect solution. A few friends recommended this app after building lovely long-term relationships with repeat clients, and I really like that idea too - I’d much rather become your dog’s familiar, trusted “nanny” than just be a one-off sitter. 🐶

A little about me: I’m reliable, responsible and pretty active. I finish work around 4–5pm and spend most of my free time outdoors - walking, running, hiking and exploring around Wānaka. I’d love to have a four-legged adventure buddy for a Mt Iron mission, a lake stroll or an Outlet Track walk… although if your dog would rather spend the afternoon on the couch, I’m equally happy to embrace that lifestyle :))

I’ve lived with dogs both here in New Zealand and back home in Latvia, so I’m very comfortable around them and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and quirks. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you have established - feeding times, walks, medications, sleeping arrangements, favorite toys, weird little habits… whatever keeps your dog happy and comfortable.

I’m also very respectful of people’s homes. While travelling, I did several Woofing exchanges, which gave me experience looking after someone else’s home, pets and daily routines while they were away. I genuinely enjoy the house-sitting side of it too - I’m tidy, independent and perfectly happy having a quiet night in with a dog.

I’m mainly available for weekend house sitting but not strict on that, especially for longer periods. I’m also keen on morning / afternoon/evening walks and visits during the week.

Most importantly, I’d love to build a relationship with both the dog and their humans, so you can feel completely comfortable knowing your furry family member is in good hands while you’re away. ❤️
