Hello, my name is Belinda! I’m a qualified veterinary nurse assistant and currently halfway through my studies to become a fully registered vet nurse. Working with animals is more than just a job for me—it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I’ve spent over three years working at an exotics veterinary clinic and boarding facility, which has given me extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of species and a strong understanding of their individual needs.

I have a particular passion for rodents, especially rats. I’ve owned, rescued, and cared for rats for over eight years, and I’ve developed a high level of knowledge in their behaviour, health, enrichment, and specialised care. Because of this, I offer rodent boarding from my home for $15 a day, with everything included. I’ve provided this service for several years and have had many happy clients who appreciate the level of attention and expertise I give their pets. While I do not accept dogs or cats for boarding, I’m happy to discuss the needs of other small species.

With my experience in both veterinary and boarding settings, I’m confident caring for pets with medical needs as well. I can administer medication as required and follow detailed routines to ensure each animal feels safe and looked after. My goal is to give every pet a calm and comfortable experience while offering owners complete peace of mind.
