Hello, we are Joanne and Sam, members of Pawshake since 2018 but been on pause until now having since raised our son (now 6) and moved into a much bigger house well suited for hosting. We would love to put your mind at ease by looking after your beloved pet while you're away or just busy with life. 

Jo had a dog previously from the SPCA at 8 weeks old who lived until a ripe old age. We currently have a 5 year old very well trained White Swiss Shepherd and sweet rescue Tabby also from the SPCA who gets along well with dogs. We are experienced with handling breeds from small to large and are able to do pickups and dropoffs too.

Sam works fully remote in Financial Services technology with a flexible schedule. He is a keen runner with lots of energy and would love to take your dogs for walks or runs any time of the day, for as long and as often as needed.

We have lived in both East and West Auckland since the early 1990s but now own our home in a pet friendly cul-de-sac in between Point View Reserve and Barry Curtis Park in Flat Bush, on a 500m fully fenced, standalone single story flat section with plenty of grass and shelter. We have had a number of dogs board with us previously and we love taking them out to various parks around Auckland.

There are several really nice off road trails and beaches where we live. Rest assured your pets will always have someone available during their stay with us, or a visit when required with regular updates provided as often as you like.

For day care or boarding, your dog must be:
🐾 Fully vaccinated
🐾 Up to date with flea and worm treatments
🐾 Toilet trained
🐾 Well behaved and house trained
