Hi, my name is Amanda, I am 21 years old. I am currently working part-time and studying chemistry part time at the University of Canterbury.

I have a dog of my own and love walking him. I offer walking and house sitting and day visits. I am a dog lover so I am motivated to keep dogs happy and well exercised. Although I have my own dog that I love, I would like to work with other dogs and give them the love and attention when it is sometimes not possible in a busy life. I currently do this by volunteering at the DogWatch adoption centre. I am wanting to train to be a dog groomer once I have finished my current study as animals is a passion of mine. Length of walks will depend on the dog's needs. Dogs will be walked on a leash or if the dog usually walks off leash, I will walk them on the leash until I know how they act and can react appropriately. House visits will involve letting the dog out for play time. Length of visits are usually 30 minutes but can be longer if needed. I can also offer basic training on lead with basic commands. House sitting is available.
