About Me and My Motivation to Be a Pet Sitter
Hello! My name is Paula, i am from Spain, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Growing up, my family and I have cared for around twelve dogs in total, and right now I live with five wonderful ones—each with their own unique personality. Some live with my father, others with my mother, and one belongs to my father’s partner, so I’m constantly involved in their care and daily routines.
Spending time with dogs truly makes me happy. I love walking them, playing with them, and making sure they feel loved and comfortable. I’ve also volunteered walking and caring for dogs in need, which gave me even more experience handling different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Through that, I learned how much a little love, patience, and attention can change a dog’s day.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and my desire to help others care for their furry friends when they can’t be there.

I have previously house sat on many occasions for family and friends taking care of the home with great pride as I would my own. I like to take care of cats and dogs and indoor and outdoor plants am happy to care for other animals once given instructions. I can give medication that can be put into their food not injections. I can bring the dogs out for evening walks I like to do an hour of an evening walk and can feed them morning and night.the days I work from home I can entertain them all day :)
I enjoy the variety of house sitting and love to meet new furry friends. I like people to be able to enjoy their holiday or time away from home without worrying about the home or if the pets are ok I am trusty and reliable. I'm vigilant about setting alarms and locking windows and doors and sending daily updates to owners. I can stay for as long as needed or as little time.
I am from Ireland originally and have lived in New Zealand for just over 8 years now and having been a renter for a decade I have not been able to have my own pets at all in this time and miss them immensely I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members
