Currently I offer only house sitting services, where I come stay in your house with your pet to take care of them in a comfortable setting for your pet. I'm an experienced house sitter, and I have experience with all kinds of dogs from big to small, from chill to very energetic ones! I have been doing pet sitting for a several years now in Finland, Estonia, Ireland and wishing to continue it here in New Zealand too. My main focus is dogs as I’m most experienced with them but I’m open for other animals as well.

My requirements for staying over are just a comfy bed where I can sleep in, and a working Wi-Fi. Of course I'll take care of your house/apartment(+plants🪴) as well as your pets while I’m there, and clean up after myself etc.&nbsp;

Since my role as an Animal Care Attandant, I have wanted to continue working with animals in any capacity due to my love for them and fuffilmet of this role. I was able to work with a range of different dog breeds, getting to know all their individual personalities and quirks. Being able to give each of them the best possible care has been one of the most rewarding experience of my life!
I have also done lots of dog sitting previously, from daily walks to a 14-day house stay.
I was also lucky enough to foster a rescue pup, Charlie who was a 5 month old husky, for 5 weeks where I was responsible for his care, training and rehabilitation 24/7 until he found his forever home.&nbsp;
I have also helped raise, train and look after my family's Border Collie dog for the last 10 years and she is the light of my life! Since living away from home, I have all that love for her that I need to put somewhere else until I see her again. I am also a big cat lover having grown up with three cats with the biggest personalities.

Hi, I'm Karen and I have been living in Queenstown for the past 4.5 years. My fiance (Andrew) and I have done a lot of dogsitting for our friends in the recent years. We have experience with a range of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Some of the dogs we have had so far include a pug, viszla, border collie x Australian shepherd, golden retriever, bichon x miniature poodle, german shepherd. In summer we like to take the dogs out with us on different activities - a swim in the lake, cherry picking over in Cromwell, or out on a bike ride. In Winter when it's cold or raining, we prefer more of a cruisy day in front of the TV.
We live in a fully fenced house in Lower Shotover, right next to the Twin Rivers Trail. We also have two indoor cats, Charlie and Bean, who are very confident and friendly. They have been very good with all the dogs we have had, especially Bean who we have had since he was just 3 weeks old.
I work a mix of morning shifts or afternoon-evening shifts. Your dog will never be left alone for over 6 hours at a time (and they can never truly be alone because Bean won't let that happen! )
What I offer:
- two daily walks (up to an hour each depending on the dog's energy requirements)
- basic grooming and regular brushing (I am happy to bath the dog too if needed)
- nail trimming
- oral or topical medication if required
- a warm, loving home and plenty of attention
As a pet owner myself, I understand the feelings of unease when you leave your pet for an extended period of time. I send regular updates of your dog's adventures and photos/videos to keep you updated. I am happy to follow any routines that you have and continue any training (both my cats have learnt "sit", "paw", "stay", and "cuddles", and Charlie also knows "hush"). Your dog is also more than welcome to sleep on the bed, or if you prefer, in a crate or his/her own dog bed
