I live in a spacious two-story home with my partner and our friendly, playful 5-year-old dog who loves meeting new furry friends. Our home has plenty of room for pets to relax, play, and feel right at home — whether that’s lounging in the sun or chasing toys around the living room.

One of the things that sets me apart is that I work from home and spend most of my time here, so your pet will get lots of attention, supervision, and affection throughout the day. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

Hello pet parents! We are Florencia and Emilia, two teachers from Uruguay. We have been travelling Australia while petsitting for a while and we are dearly missing our fur babies. We have experience with all sorts of breeds, sizes and characters.&nbsp;I, Emi, am a 29 year old art teacher who has had pets my whole life, including bunnies, hamsters, cats, dogs and birds. Currently I have a lovely doggie waiting for me back home, Oli, who is a very energetic rescue staffy and poodle mix Flor is a 26 year old Psychologist and English teacher, who has two guinea pigs (Rudy and Bruno) and two cats (Olivia and Gaia). I’m currently studying Canine Behaviour and Training at Unitec, and over the past couple of years, I’ve gained hands on experience working in the canine care industry, including doggy daycare and puppy socialisation programs. At home, I share my family home with two dogs a lively Jack Russell full of energy and a sweet senior Labrador who loves his naps. We're based on the North Shore (Browns Bay) for home and work, so the best locations for us are North Shore, North-West, Hobsonville and up to Orewa.  I work from home so if you have specific needs for your pup or cat, just let us know.&nbsp;

Growing up, mom always made sure that we are surrounded with animals so that we could learn kindness, sharing, and love by treating animals properly. Back in Malaysia, I volunteered at my uncle's dog training facility. I learned a few methods and approaches for training a dog and identifying behavioural problems. As a registered nurse, I have cared for not only people but also our fur friends. Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Hello! My name is Gemma and my son, Max, is an 11-year-old animal lover who enjoys taking care of pets. According to Pawshake rules, Max will always be accompanied by a parent. I have a lot of experience as I'm the housesitting part of the team and a mother of 5 boys, so you can trust us completely.
We are available after 3:30 pm on Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 4 pm on holidays and weekends. I also have some flexibility during the weekdays, so I could take care of your pets without my son if needed.
Our services cover Stanmore Bay, Arkles Bay, and Manly. We will walk your pets locally in parks or at the beach near your home. We live in Stanmore Bay and have a very patient cat named Boots who is the same age as Max. We have experience in taking care of pets for neighbours and friends by feeding them, brushing them, regularly walking them, and cleaning up after them.
We are happy to look after smaller pets like fish or turtles, and we are willing to discuss costs depending on the type of animal and the work required. 
When it comes to house and pet sitting, I'm the one who takes care of that as it gives me some much-needed time out.
