I couldn't have asked for a better person to care for our 12-year-old Labrador, Lola.
Deidre stepped in at very short notice when our plans unexpectedly changed and was incredibly flexible throughout. As I was overseas, I was naturally worried about Lola suddenly leaving her usual home, but Deidre's regular communication, thoughtful updates, and almost daily photos quickly put my mind at ease.
She genuinely listened to my concerns and cared for Lola as an individual. When she noticed Lola was a little stiff, she thoughtfully moved her bed onto a soft rug to make her more comfortable, and she even went out to buy another bag of Lola's special food when it ran low.
Lola enjoyed regular walks around the property and to the beach, settled in within a couple of days, and even made a few canine friends. My son, who dropped Lola off and collected her, commented on how friendly and welcoming Deidre was, and said Lola seemed completely herself when she came home.
I would happily leave Lola with Deidre again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, caring, and dependable dog minder."

"We boarded our dog border collie , Seisei, with Yuka from 6th to 14th June while we were relocating to the South Island, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though it was a last minute booking, Yuka was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. She kept us updated throughout Seisei’s stay with regular messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for.
Yuka also went above and beyond by helping coordinate Seisei’s handover to the shuttle service bringing him to us in the South Island. Despite a slight change in plans, everything was handled smoothly and with great care. We truly appreciated her flexibility, reliability, and the genuine affection she showed Seisei throughout his stay.
I highly recommend Yuka to anyone in North Shore looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Yuka, for your commendable service and for taking such wonderful care of Seisei."

"Paulomi was so sweet the moment I met her I knew I’d book with her. My dog was always excited to go for doggy daycare with her and really enjoyed his time there. Paulomi helped me with my dog’s weight loss and gave me amazing advice to help me take care of him. I would 110% recommend her for dog daycare, boarding and all of the above. "Rory and Kate were absolutely amazing! They looked after our dog for a week while we were away and treated her like she was part of the family. We received lots of updates and photos showing all the fun she was having – from walks and garden zoomies to playtime and plenty of cuddles.

"Absolutely loved using Stephanie’s dog boarding service! It’s hard not to feel nervous when leaving a pet in the care of others, but Stephanie made us feel completely at ease and we were able to enjoy our time away without worry 🥰 she was very communicative and accomodating of our needs and timing, and we loved getting regular photo updates. "Sheree and her family are lovely! Sheree puts in a lot of effort, time and consideration with all the dogs in her care. She was patient with Ace with this being his first time away from home. He was shown lots of affection, attention and catered to him and all his needs. Sheree sent me photos everyday of Ace playing and getting along with all the other dogs which I appreciated so much and I was reassured he was okay and in great care. "Bertha and her family are marvellous dog sitters. We were very nervous parents at first, but were put at our ease when Bertha initiated sleepovers for our two dogs, so they could get used to the new environment. We had two of these sleepovers before leaving them for their long holiday. The idea of short stays is brilliant, giving both the dogs, the dog 'parents', and Bertha and her family a chance to get to know each other and get comfortable. Our dogs are very fussy and nervous, with one being on heart medication, but all this was coped with splendidly. Highest praise! Your worries would be over, leaving your fur babies here. "

"Sharon is a wonderful dog sitter. Our dog Dante loves her and her boys. When we came to drop Dante off last time, he ran through their dog door like it was home and was happy to see them all. He stayed with her for 19 days, so it was a long stay. Though he was happy to be home again, mostly he was just tired from playing with all the other dogs, and would be happy to go again in a few days. Would recommend her highly."

"Highly recommended dog sitters, they treated our Max as their own. Aside from walks and play, they given Max a bath and a nail trim when needed, added veg and fruits to his meals and offer to brush his teeth. They also have a family dog name Roro, she is amazing, very friendly and get along very well with our Max. They keep you updated by photos which for me the best part. "First time using Pawshake and couldn’t have found a better sitter. Yvonne was very accommodating, agreeing to an in-person and doggie meet & greet prior, and was flexible with change in drop-off and pick-up time. Proper dog household with lots of toys and doggie beds. Great communication with daily photo updates. My younger dog can be a bit anxious, but appeared to enjoy snuggling with Yvonne’s husband in their armchair and was comfortably settled by day two. Thank you Yvonne! Will be in touch when I need a sitter again. "

"My 2 doodles recently stayed over at Kirsty’s for 4 nights. I could not have asked for a better family to care for my fur babies. Kirsty has a natural and loving nature and you can see she truly cares for and adores animals. I had such peace of mind knowing that my dogs were in her care. "Emma was a god send for us. We were heading away for the holidays and we needed to find a place for our dog, Ziggy. Emma gave us confidence that Ziggy would be well cared for and safe.
Emma’s place was perfect, by the beach, so Ziggy got lots of time in the sand. We also got regular pics and updates which was great.
In the end we felt lucky to have found a place and home where Ziggy got lots of cuddles, time in the sun and some four legged company as well. Thanks Emma."
