My names Jessie, I am 23 years old and I love to go on hikes and walks and immerse myself in nature. I would love to take your dog/s with me! I am an enthusiastic and easy-going person with a strong passion for animals. I have grown up with animals, cats and dogs, and ever since I was young I have always shown a strong liking to caring for and looking after my own pets and others pets. I would love to take care of your own fur friend!

My dog Keeto (Swedish Vallhund) has a bubbly personality, loves to play, cuddle and go for walks. Although, he can be hyperactive at times, especially in public settings and gets separation anxiety. I understand how to support these needs, keeping him calm and relaxed when he is feeling tense. I am experienced with dealing with the swing of these doggy emotions.

What I offer:
I am currently working, so I am only available on the weekends at the moment. If needed I can assist with dog walking after 5.30pm on the week days- as it is light outside now!
I am available for dog, cat, birds or any other animal sitting. I am available to stay as long as needed to look after your pets, night or day. I can help with other house sitting needs too. I am only available to pet-sit at your home as I live in a rental. I can assure I will be respectful, safe and tidy while looking after your pets!
I am available for dog walking too, I have a car so I am able to drive to beaches or parks for your dog to have a run around! I will take them for an hour to ensure they are well walked.

I am a friendly and honest person who is willing to help care for and look after your pets. Please message me if you would like to know more :)

I’m a 36-year-old, full-time working professional based in Wellington, originally from India, and a lifelong animal lover
Growing up, animals were always a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, doves, and even hamsters over the years. Being around animals has always brought me a lot of comfort, happiness, and calm.

These days, as a renter living in the city, owning a pet isn’t an option for me, and honestly, I really miss the love, warmth, and cuddles that come with having animals around. That’s what led me to pet sitting. It feels like a meaningful way to stay connected to animals while helping others feel confident their pets are cared for when they’re away. If I walk into a home with a pet, you’ll usually find me talking to them, playing, or cuddling them long before I start interacting with the humans

While I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I’ve spent many years looking after pets for friends and family. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals, whether that’s energetic playtime or quiet companionship.

I’m very organised and take pride in keeping spaces clean and tidy. If house sitting is involved, I’m more than happy to keep your home immaculate while caring for your pet
I’m keen to do pet and house sitting within Wellington city limits. I don’t currently have a car but am comfortable commuting via public transport when needed.

My motivation for pet sitting comes from love rather than money. I truly enjoy caring for animals and treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets and always keen to understand each pet’s individual needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved

Kia ora! I'm an animal lover and experienced house-sitter. It would be a pleasure to befriend and care for your pet while you're away.
I have a lot of experience caring for cats and dogs. My partner and I are the proud owners of our own sassy old tortoiseshell cat, and I used to flat with a wonderful staffy-lab cross. I have also looked after many other pups during house-sitting gigs over the years - from terriers to collies and rotweilers. I also have experience looking after puppies, having volunteered at the SPCA puppy-run for over a year.
I always respect the houses I stay in, and will leave the place as clean and tidy as I found it. I am also happy to keep your garden and indoor plants watered while you are away.
My pet-sitting philosophy is to try to maintain the pets' familiar routine as well as I can, to keep your pets feeling as comfortable and secure as possible.
I have most experience sitting cats and dogs, but I am happy to look after other pets with your instruction.

Hey there!
I'm a lifelong dog lover and carer, having grown up with Dogue de Bordeaux so I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers slow walks and lots of cuddles, I adapt easily to their needs and always treat them like part of the family.
I offer dog walking, and home visits within the Wellington CBD area and I’m more than happy to help with senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, or those needing medication—as long as I’m given instructions, you can trust they’re in safe hands.
UPDATE: Currently do not have my own vehicle so only able to train/bus - please add-on extra travel expense. If you are located in Wellington CBD then this will be free. Please feel free to message me!
- Home visits: I can stay with pets for 30mins in the home and I am able to water plants and bring in mail if needed.
- Dog walking: I can offer up to 1 hour walks and have good fitness level to take them to preffered trails if needed.
- House sitting: I am able to stay up to 2 hours when sitting. I will ensure safe security measures are in place i.e. spare keys in lockboxes, making sure windows/doors are all closed, taking photos of pets/environment and sending to owners if needed/wanted, sending texts/call upon arrival/exit.
I can offer a FREE call/meet up for your reassurance that I am the right fit for your pet and will take all instructions for your pet and home safety!
I have experience through other sites caring for dogs, cats, and homes.
What I love most is the simple joy of being around pets as I currently cannot have my own in the apartment that I live in. I’ll always give them my full attention and make sure you get regular updates, so you can feel totally at ease while I'm caring for them.
Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend!

Thank you for checking my profile! I love dogs and I have the experience of walking different breeds and different sizes of dogs. Therefore, I will make sure your baby will be happy while you are away.
I am an active volunteer at SPCA Wellington. Previously, I volunteered at the Tampa Bay Humane Society and Harbor Humane Society as a dog companion. I have also worked as a dog walker and house sitter while I was living in Tampa, Florida. A few months ago, I completed the Care for Dogs certification through the SPCA, so I have the required knowledge to look after your furry friend.
I will be able to do dog walking and house visits for dogs in the Wellington central area for small to medium sized dogs. I will not be able to provide dog boarding or day care services as I'm currently renting and I'm not allowed to have pets in my apartment. I will not be able to look after cats as I'm allergic to them.
Dog walks - The walks will be in the Wellington central area. I usually like to take the dogs to Oriental bay area as they can enjoy nice sun and fresh air while socialising with other dogs and humans. The walks will be 30 - 60 mins long.
House visits - I will be able to stop by at your house, socialise and feed your dog and maybe water your plants. The house visits will be 60 mins long. I will ensure your home is secured based on the instructions provided by you prior to leaving.
I work full-time during business hours as a Data Analyst in the public sector. Therefore, I'll be only available during the weekends and public holidays - afternoons and evenings only.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out prior to booking.

Kia ora, I am a student looking for pet sitting jobs over the holidays, I am tidy, reliable and love all animals. I am currentry studying animal science at Massey university in Palmerston North and have grown up around border collies so am well equipped for dealing with high energy and boisterous animals. I have also volunteered for SPCA for a year so have also gained experience around sick and injured animals that are often reactive or scared. I understand the stress of leaving animals at home so I will ensure they receive the best care when in my care. I am an active and patient person and would love to spend time with any animal, whether it is a shy cat, a high energy dog or a senior dog who requires a gentle walk around the block. I am available in the Northern suburbs only between Khandallah and Kaori, preferably around the Wadestown area.
Have a great day and I look forward to hearing from you,Amy

Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile.
I'm on Pawshake primarily because I'm missing my dog back home in England after being out here in NZ for about a year and having just moved away from a house that was supplying my dose of animal love!
I'm looking for all sorts of opportunities - dog walking, home visits, and overnight visits. I don't have a car, so my fees cover travel costs and food for me :)
My experience?
I have spent my entire life with animals, primarily dogs. I have grown up being involved in the process of caring for them - walking, feeding, playing etc.
I also have a lot of experience in taking care of other people's pets. I already walk one dog on Tuesdays, and have done a 2 night pet sit here in Wellington since moving here a couple of months ago.
I've spent weeks at my Uncle's house looking after his dog, and have walked various family friends' dogs growing up. I have experience with all sizes! Labradors, stocky staffies etc.
In the last year I looked after the cat at my family's house in QT. We bonded very well and I miss her already hahaha. I've done a few cat sits for my neighbour's outdoor cat back in England as well, feeding, playing, and just sitting with her.
I'm up for anything and would love the opportunity to add your beloved animals to the mix!
Please let me know if you would like any more information about me or my experience, and I hope you'll consider me!
All of my pet sitting experience has been at the pet owner's houses. My house is in the city and not very accessible or particularly suitable for a dog - so I'm primarily looking for work to do with walking or caring for your cat/dog at your house.
During week days I work in the evenings from 4pm for 7-8 hours, so house sitting is only available on weekends! Anything else is on the cards all week-long :)

I am a mature Mum to both furry and human children. I grew up around farm animals and then as an adult owned a farm, hence have always been around dogs, horses, cats, cows and fish :) (tropical marine fish in particular).
I trained our 3 boxers from puppies all at different stages and all of different personalities: 1 in the UK and 2 in NZ. Living on a farm in Nelson we also had 3 miniature horses and plenty of cows, chickens and fish. I have a medical degree and have regularly participated in the medical care of all our animals, including hands on care. I now enjoy cuddles from my daughter's Cane Corsos and looking after other people's furry babies, as currently have no pets at home. I miss them and am always keen to help anyone out and get my cuddles in return.
I have plenty of experience with dogs and with cats of all ages, having looked after both. I have cared for dogs from puppies to the elderly, hence I can take part in continuing training as well as starting basic training. I enjoy my daily walks around the Bays and that would only be made more enjoyable having a furry companion.
I am currently semi-retired and as such I am flexible during the day and also in the evenings. I am available for house sitting, both short and long term, if needed. I can also attend Vet visits if need be, as I have worked closely with Vets in the past.
Overall, I am looking forward to being able to help you and your fur babies in whatever needs you may have and get some fur baby time in return!

Hi!
I'm Emma. I'm an Antarctic earth scientist and love all things outdoors, animals and the ocean. I had several pets growing up including chickens, cats and sheep and was often put in charge of looking after them. My partner Ethan, is a software engineer and is lucky enough to have grown up with several cats and dogs.
While we would love to get pets of our own, we unfortunately live in a rental that is not pet friendly, so we would love to look after your pets as if they were our own! Due to not having pets for a long time, there is plenty of extra love to go round!
Ethan and I have done various house/pet sitting gigs for colleagues and friends and loved it immensely. We love to get outside and walk with doggos and cuddle inside with cats. As quick learners we hope to adapt to your pets specific needs and provide a wonderful pet sitting experience for everyone involved.
While Emma works in a lab and has to keep regular hours, Ethan has an office job where he can easily work from home if there are pets that require care throughout the day. We can offer both long and short term pet sitting - and would love to hear from you!
