Hi! I am a board-certified physician from the Philippines. I moved to NZ in 2024 and since then, have been pet sitting with my partner. We dont drink (alcoholic beverges), dont smoke and dont party. We do love to "Netflix and chill" with comfort food (ice cream, milk tea, crisps, popcorn or some other junk food LOL)Back home, I have 3 cats (all rescued) and 2 dogs (1 rescued, 1 gifted) whom I miss dearly and left with my mom and sister. I am fiercely loyal to my pets whom I consider my babies so I initially had a hard time "replacing" them here. However, after a few months of living without pets, I realized that I needed a furbaby to care for and snuggle with in bed. So we eventually adopted 2 cats (1 rescued, 1 from an owner who had to rehome).I am available almost 24/7 because I work from home and can tailor my schedule to fit yours. For house sitting services, I do require good wifi connection at all times for my online job.I have vast experience being a responsible pet-owner caring for my own above-mentioned pets back home (1 cat is sickly, 1 dog is a 15-year old senior). Hi, as a trained vet nurse, general animal lover and dog owner of forever. I have my own business Fetch &amp; Frolic, (on Facebook), I am out walking mine and others daily. Doing lots of house sitting and a bit of home boarding.I have been doing pack walks for a long time and not long ago moved into more challenging dogs for one on one walks and training sessions.With 4 adults living in the home there is often little time the house is not attended, we all walk, play and snuggle yours dogs.We love our shared lives with our babies and know how important it is to be able to trust them with others when we travel.&nbsp;
We have several animals of our own, three well walked dogs, 11 chickens whom happily stay at home with family if we are at yours.
Our walks often consist of some lead walking with gentle training and taking time to get to know the dog. There is a bit of footpath walking then into bush and tracks. This is from our home. I am often out in the wider reachers of the Nelson region and doing tracks with mine and other peoples dogs.
So any given day there is about 1.5 hours walking, if your dogs is is up for it.
We do enjoy a romp down some of the beach spots around the town, I love going to the Glenduan to watch the waves and enjoy the track, dogs love the sniffs and fun. The maitai or the Brook tracks are regular spots you will also find me.
For at our home stays we prefer a later afternoon 5/6pm drop off and pick ups, preference is already well walked and this allows a better understanding of how the house works for them. It is normally quieter around this time. We are able to do a short walk with owners then along the tack to get an idea of the best commands and behaviors if you feel this is neededI would like a phone call with you, to assess temperament and needs, for them coming into my home followed by a visit if possible for all to meet.Our home works well for most dogs the environment allows for playing and enrichment, snuggles and beds/beanbags to hang out on inside/outside access at all times. We are able to set up their crate if preferes. Please bring their food so the transition is easier.&nbsp;

 Dog Walking – Walks are typically 30 minutes, but can be longer if required, depending on your dog’s energy levels. I enjoy beach walks, parks, and safe neighbourhood strolls. If your pup has a favourite route, I’m happy to follow their routine! I can take them to The Back Beach, Tahunanui Beach Dog Park, or The Grampians for a good hill climb, even Marsden Valley Dog Park—whatever suits them and their energy levels.
 Home Visits (Dog/Cat Feeding &amp; Check-ins) – Visits are around 30 minutes per trip and include feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, playtime, and cuddles (if your cat is up for it!). I can also water plants, bring in the mail, and take out the bins.
 House Sitting – I can stay overnight and work from your home during the day (as long as there’s WiFi), ensuring your pets have company for most of the day and all evening. More companionship = less pet stress, especially in their familiar home environment. I also keep an eye on security, water plants, enjoy gardening and maintain a tidy home while you're away.
 Additional Care – I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats. If your pet needs extra care, just let me know.

Hello! My name is Ryan and I'm twenty three years old. I love animals more than anything, and have grown up around them my whole life, especially dogs, my first word was dog! I have been working as a kennel hand for about four years now and am trying to find ways to spend even more time with animals on the side since my rental doesn't allow any at this time other than my one gorgeous cat :)
I am especially interested in bully breeds, since they're the kind of dogs I grew up with. I also have more specific experience working with ex racing greyhounds, which I have a very soft spot for! But I truly love all breeds, big or small, and all other animals, including pets like rats or rabbits!&nbsp;

I’ve had hands-on experience looking after dogs for family and friends, including feeding, walking, and caring for them in their own homes, so one year of experience. For example, I’ve cared for dogs while owners were away by sticking to their usual routines, taking them on daily walks, feeding them, and making sure they felt comfortable and settled in their space. I've stayed over at houses overnight to house sit and look after their animals a couple of times as well. 

I’ve grown up around animals and have cared for dogs with different personalities — from energetic dogs who need longer walks and playtime, to more relaxed or older dogs who prefer a slower pace and extra care. I've had experiences when there has been aggressive dogs on walks where I stayed calm and went to the other side of the street to avoid confrontation, I'm a quick thinker to make sure your pet and others are always safe. 

I usually walk 1–2 dogs at a time depending on their size, behaviour, and your preference, and I’m confident reinforcing basic training like sitting, waiting, and walking calmly on the lead.

I’m also comfortable giving basic medication orally if needed and taking extra care with senior dogs or pets with special requirements.

On walks, I always prioritise safety. I stay aware of surroundings, other dogs, and anything that could cause stress. If a dog is nervous or reactive, I stay calm and patient and adjust the walk to suit them. In an emergency, I would contact you immediately and take your pet to the nearest vet if needed.

I work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so I’m available the other days for short or long walks, house visits, playtime, and more. On workdays, I can also do a 1-hour walk after around 5:30pm and am happy to pick your dog up as I have a car and not worried about dog hair haha!

I live a pretty simple and steady lifestyle with work, going for walks, and spending time with my family. I’m doing pet sitting on the side to save for travel next year, but it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to.
