Hi, I'm Laura, a British girl living in the beautiful Mount. 
I have always been a dog- lover, and this love was heightened by my darling Bailey, a golden labradoodle. We had Bailey for 10 years and he was my angel. Bailey taught me so much about caring for dogs - the importance of a good walk, lots of good ball throws and always stopping to sniff all the good smells on walk. Since losing Bailey there has always been a dog shaped hole in my heart, a walk just isn't the same without a fury companion. 
I like to keep myself active, always going for walks and I would love some four- legged company (any age, shape or size). 
Alongside walks, I am available to drop by your home and keep your beloved fur baby company for a while. 
I am available evenings, and all day every Friday. I can also do most weekends. 
I'm very flexible - I understand that plans can change last minute. 

An introduction to me:
I grew up in South Africa surrounded by pets. My friends often referred to our home as a farm. We averaged around 6 dogs and 6 cats at any given time throughout my childhood. We have had a Ridgeback, Great Dane, Shorkie, Basset Hound, Swiss Sheppard, German Sheppard as well as a Shiba Inu and other crossbreeds over the years. My pets always sleep on the bed with me and often sit on the couch with me too. We always played fetch with our dogs in the garden, as well as the odd wrestle now and then. They loved being taken on walks to the beach and playing in the waves.
I love cats just as much (although that love may not be reciprocated, lol). I learned to understand the temperament of a cat and to respect their need to choose you, and that they cannot be told when to be loving and affectionate. Cats seem to enjoy my laid-back personality and eventually come for a cuddle. I have loved the characters we had over the years.
My experience:
I have house-sat and looked after pets in South Africa and Northern Ireland. In South Africa, I house-sat for a week, where I looked after 2 Ridgebacks (and broke up a fight between them- not fun!), as well as 2 cats in that house too. I have looked after another South African family's house and dogs for a week, where I looked after a Border Collie, Belgian Malinois, Kelpie, Collie x Kelpie and Jack Russell.&nbsp;
In Northern Ireland, I house-sat and looked after French Bulldogs on numerous occasions.

Hello, I love animals and I have experience dog sitting for different types of breeds. I am an active person that enjoys the gym, playing different sports and being outdoors. I have always enjoyed nature, I have a Biology degree, and all sorts of animals (fish, cats, birds, you name it). Because of my active nature, I enjoy taking the pets out for walks in the beach or dog friendly areas. 
I have been doing pet sitting for friends on a casual basis. As of 2025 I became a proud dog dad to Gizmo, a little rescue and most of my time is spent with him. I have experience staying with a pet for a weekend or a month, flexible with time.

I am Sarai I have just moved to the mount and would love to take your little bff for walks to the beach parks and look after them. I am a very loving responsible active person who grew up around lots of pets since I was a baby and have had lots of furry friends ever since! I lived in papamoa beach for a bit where I looked after our flat dog khaleesi through her surgeries and before and after she got better and we were allowed to run around and go to cafes for treats!
I have lots of experience taking care of my dogs / cats as well as friends safely bringing them home from fun beach walks and I'm looking to get more experience as I'm wanting to go back to New York and do dog walking there as well! 

I loved moving to the mount (near the ocean and next to the park) and have decided to stay here for a little longer and get to know the area better and would love to meet you and help you out with your pets in the meantime! 
I do live right next to the park so if you leave your little friend with me we will have a lot of fun playing in the park as there's usually other friends that come play there! We have a fully fenced backyard where we will be safe and able to play also :) 


Hi, my name is Jesse and I'm 31. I'm a stay at home mum to two beautiful girls that share my passion for animals. I grew up on a farm and have always had pets in some form. We have an array of our own pets currently including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, axolotl, and leopard geckos. I always strive to give all our animals the love and attention they deserve so they truly thrive not just survive.
I have personal experience with administering medications. I have an eye for detail which means I often pick up early warning signs and can act appropriately - particularly important with our small furry friends such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Previously i have worked with animals as a TB Technician, and a calf rearer. Ihave decided to do dog walking because it is my passion to work with animals.
I offer dog walking, and house visits. When taking your dog for a walk I am happy to give updates such as a GPS screenshot of our walk, and photos of your pupper. Also happy to send photos during home visits as well so you have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your furry (or scaley!) friends :) &nbsp;Dog walking: 1 walk is for approximately 20-30mins, unless discussed otherwise. Your dog will be kept on lead to keep them safe in my care, I can provide a longline if you would like them to have extra freedom. I am able to send details of the walk and photos if desired. Please tell me about your dogs favourite walks/activities on the walk - eg does your dog like a slow paced sniffari or are they more of a fast paced adventurer. And also your dogs needs - do they like to meet and greet everybody or prefer their space? And what training they have? I aim to take your dog on exciting walks that suit their needs so the more you can tell me about them the better.House visits: I will stay with your pet for approximately 20-30mins unless discussed prior. I am happy to play games with them or just chill depending on your pets needs and interests. I can feed them, toilet them, and give any oral medication as needed. Happy to clean up after rabbits/guinea pigs etc. I am happy to water plants, and bring in mail etc as required.&nbsp;Availability: Being a stay at home mum I am fairly flexible on time of day to suit your pets needs.

Kia ora animal lovers, I'm Anika, I'm 24 and I work full-time in Wellington CBD. The furry friend in my photo is my brother Zeus, he's a 12 year old Maltese. Our family is big on spending time outside, we love the occasional treat and daily walks are a must to have a productive day.&nbsp;
I grew up around dogs, and a cat. Since moving down to wellington, I have missed having a buddy join me on my walks. My previous experience is with my family dogs which range from small to medium sized dogs, but have dog sat casually for friends with larger dogs in the past. At this stage, my services include dog walking and home visits. I won't be house-sitting or dog-sitting, at my home or yours.&nbsp;
While visiting your home, I take great care in making sure I lock up and leave everything as you left it. I am happy to bring in mail or water your plants if needed. I will take your dog(s) out for a walk and then spend some time playing with them at home. I estimate this taking an hour but am fllexible to reduce or extend this time if required.&nbsp;
Ideally, I like to walk in a dog friendly park if there is one close by, alternatively I would take them for a walk around the neighbourhood. If your dog travels well in a car and you're okay with it, I'm happy to drive them to a park if it's slightly too far out from where you live. I know there are some small dog friendly parks near Karori, Wadestown, and Crofton Downs.&nbsp;
I have experience and am comfortable administering oral medications to small - medium sized dogs. The black poodle cross in my profile had seizures and required two medications taken orally every couple hours. I have also had experience looking after him through and post seizures.&nbsp;
I am usually available in the afternoon and evenings on a weekday, but am free all day on weekends.&nbsp;
