Hello, im Jes, I have had a love for animals ever since I can remember, and have ridden and worked horses for many years, there always seemed to be dogs around, this exposure to dogs highlighted my love for these animals. I have volunteered at the SPCA, 9 lives orphanage and have been pet sitting on Pawshake since the start of 2024.
I am happy for walks to be short, or up to 2 hours, in a location of your choice, your dog will be kept on leash, with off leash time when it is safe to do so and with your permission.
I am free during the weekdays with the last walk time at 8pm. I can also do weekend times if a minimum of 1 week’s notice is given. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you.

Hi there! I am motivated to be a pet sitter because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and understand how important they are as part of the family. Providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets while their owners are away gives me a strong sense of purpose. I value the trust that pet owners place in me, and I am committed to ensuring their pets feel secure, happy, and well cared for at all times.

I have previous experience looking after pets, including dogs such as Shih Tzus, where I handled feeding, grooming, walking, and giving them attention and companionship. I am familiar with different pet personalities and needs, and I always make sure to follow the owner’s instructions carefully to maintain routines and minimize stress for the pet.

For safety and health reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. This helps protect not only my own environment but also any other pets in my care. Ensuring vaccinations are up to date allows me to provide a clean, safe, and worry-free space for every pet I look after.
Whether your pet needs cuddles, exercise, or special care, I’m here to help—because they deserve nothing but love and the best care possible

Hi! I’m a student based in Hamilton who loves spending time with both cats and dogs. I may still be new to professional pet sitting, but I’m someone who is very caring, patient, and willing to put genuine effort into taking good care of every pet I meet.

I currently offer dog walking and home visits for feeding, companionship, and basic care. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always try my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while their owners are away.

I’m a very attentive and detail-oriented person, and I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your furry family member. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can feel reassured and connected with your pet at all times. I especially enjoy taking cute pet photos and capturing happy moments during walks or playtime.

Even though I’m still gaining experience, I’m responsible, gentle, and always willing to learn and improve. I truly enjoy being around animals and would love the opportunity to care for your pets with kindness, patience, and lots of attention.

Hi! I’m an 18-year-old uni student studying music and a massive animal lover. I’ve always loved being around animals, and spending time with them honestly never feels like work to me. I really enjoy helping pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away, which is why I’m excited to offer pet sitting services.
I have real hands-on experience working at a doggy daycare back in my hometown of Auckland, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I learned how to read animal behaviour, handle different temperaments like shy, energetic, or anxious pets, follow routines properly, and help dogs feel calm and settled.
I also have pets of my own, a fox terrier cross called Bonnie and two ragdoll cats, Charlie and Bella, so I completely understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and keep their normal routine consistent.
Right now, I offer pet walks and home visits. This includes feeding, fresh water, playtime, walks, and keeping your pets company in their own environment where they feel most comfortable. I always follow your instructions closely and make sure walks are safe by staying aware of surroundings and your pet’s needs.
I’m patient, gentle, and adjust how I care for each pet depending on their personality, whether they want lots of play and energy or just calm company.
I genuinely care about animals and always treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care and give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in safe hands!

Weekend Pet Sitter Who Treats Your Pets Like Family
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Although I didn't grow up with pets, I dreamed of having a dog since I was four years old, and that dream became a reality when I cared full-time for my sister's dog, Cookie, for two years during the pandemic. Cookie was an extremely shy and anxious pup when my sister rescued her from a shelter. But once we slowly introduced her to interacting with one person at a time and widened her trust circle, her personality truly shined. The key was patience and positively distracting her from any behaviours that we wanted to discourage. Looking after her brought me so much joy and confirmed how much I love spending time with animals.
While I'm a financial analyst by profession and don't have professional pet care experience, I am reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy caring for furry companions. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention while you're away.

Hi! I'm a student based in Hillcrest, Hamilton. A huge animal lover who wants to help you and spend time with your pets. I've grown up with two dogs, Pippi and Jack, who were part of my family. We also had chickens and cats and I have friends with farms so I'm used to being around all sorts of animals.
I adore my friends and family's pets and love to lend a hand/ spend quality time with them.
Due to no longer having any dogs (they recently passed) I'm keen to fill the void by dog walking and / or dog sitting.
I'm new to this app but not new to looking after all sorts of wonderful animals!
I understand dogs have different needs and am open to meeting their needs. For walking I'm happy to go to local parks or river walks, I'm also happy to stay around familiar environments if that works better.
My preference is dogs are vaccinated and have experience walking on a lead.
Please get in touch if you'd like to arrange anything :)

ABOUT ME: Kia ora! I'm Luna and I'm a postgraduate student at The University of Waikato. My husband and I are a child-free couple & used to have two furbabies in the Philippines. Since Philippines in not in the approved list of NZ to transport pets from, we couldn't get them here YET because we need to save up for full pet migration agency service. Our babies are Aloy (female, local Filipino dog breed) and Kylo (a mixed breed Beagle and Bully; unfortunately, he died just last October 17, 2024 due to blood parasitism and it broke our hearts totally).
MOTIVATION: While saving up funds to get Aloy. here in NZ, I'm looking to channel my love for furbabies here and earn some extra income through dogsitting. I also wish to do this as part of honoring Kylo's life. It would be nice to help families take care of their furbabies while they are away of have some other tasks to attend to in a day. It would be a great pleasure for me.
NEIGHBORHOOD: I live in Hamilton East and have a good neighborhood and clean pathwalks for dog walks. It is accessible to nearby parks like Galloway Park, Steele Park, and all the way to Hayes Paddock and the river walk.
AVAILABILITY: I'm relatively free during the Summer break, and can be available late afternoons and evenings during the semester.

Hello! My name is Rochelle, and I am a passionate and dedicated pet sitter with a love for animals of all kinds. I believe every pet deserves care, attention, and affection while their owners are away. I have always been surrounded by pets and have years of experience caring for them, from walking dogs to administering medications and providing special care for senior animals. I understand how important it is for pets to maintain their routines and stay in a comfortable, familiar environment. That’s why I take a personalised approach to pet sitting, ensuring that each pet receives the love and attention they need.
I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and attentive. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you can trust that your pet will be in capable hands, treated with kindness, and given the best care possible.

Hi everyone!! My name is Morgan and I'm a 25 year old working full time in psychological services. I have loads of experience with dogs, cats, horses and turtles :) I've grown up my whole life with horses, large dogs, cats, turtles and cows and love meeting new furry friends. I love to walk/run so can't wait to take your pups out on a walk/jog! I'll treat your pets as if they're my own ♡ Experience with walking, feeding/watering dogs (my own and others), feeding and playing with cats, feeding turtles and loads of experience with horses (evented to 1* - can feed, water, hay, shift fences/ponies, muck out etc - can even hack out if needed). I'm free most evenings and weekends. I'm available to walk/run dogs, feed cats/dogs/horses/any other pets! I'm available for visits or house sitting and also happy to just hang out with your furry friends ♡ Please feel free to reach out with any questions :) I'm available in the afternoons/evenings Monday-Friday (typically 5pm onwards), overnights Fridays and Saturdays, and all day on weekends. Home visits I'm happy to hang out with your furry friends + play with them! Also happy to bring in mail and water plants etc. I'll treat your home like it's my own. I don't eat any meat so there would be no meat brought into your house on overnight stays (but I don't mind at all if you do eat meat and am happy to feed meat to your pets!) With walks I'm happy to walk or run, whatever suits your pup's energy level for 30 mins to an hour! If you have a specific route you'd prefer I'm happy to follow that otherwise I'll change it up and take your pup on a safe but fun walk :) I love all animals and can't wait to meet yours!!
