Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Arthurs Point Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Arthurs Point cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Arthurs Point cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Kia ora tatou,
I have grown up with dogs, all sizes and breeds, and I come from families of dog lovers. This upbringing has seen me volunteering at dog shelters all over the world- from Greece to Ecuador, with the purpose of giving back while learning about different cultures, all while getting my dog fix! I have continued with this since returning to NZ by volunteering at local SPCAs.
I'm studying online with some placements throughout the year. I love getting out for runs and hikes and would often do so with our family dog, so (if they're up for it) I would include taking your dog out with me.
My services for looking after your dogs would include:

Exercise of at least an hour (depending on the dog's fitness it could be a run or walk, and even include a swim if they are water babies!)
Quality time playing with them throughout the day
Ensuring they always have adequate water available
Cleaning up after them in a minimal waste way (eg using newspaper instead of plastic bags to pick up poo)
I am also available to house sit, which would include any watering or harvesting in the garden if you needed!

I look forward to hearing from you,
Ngā mihi
Yvette

Hello! My name is Juliet, I live and work in Queenstown, and am keen for some pet playtime and cuddles :) I grew up with pets my whole life (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters - you name it!) and since leaving behind my adored furry friends in the States, have been on the lookout for pet sitting and dog walking opportunities!
My schedule is flexible and I have a NZ drivers lisence + reliable car, for any potential travel to and from the home. I am responsible, gentle, and patient, and have experince in pet training, as well as any additional needs like medication delivery, anxiety-prone pets, and more!
I work full-time Friday-Tuesday, and have Wed./Thr. off. I am free mornings and evenings any day of the week, and anytime on the mentioned days off. I am also open to pet boarding, depending on length of stay, needs, etc.
Please get in touch and I will be eager to chat! Thanks so much and hope to hear from you soon <3
