My husband and I have had pets for over 30 years and couldn't be without them. Being on a 5 acre block, with plenty of space, we've been able to keep a variety of animals giving us the experience to care for just about anything. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, a goat, 2 cows, ducks chickens and a reptile. Our dogs and cats live inside and outside and are free to do what they like.  Our home is fully fenced and secured with gates and security cameras.   Water and shade,  plus a quiet space is always available for them.

Our motivation for wanting to help people look after their dogs came from us needing to find a suitable dog sitter ourselves for a month while we were overseas.  It was quite stressful sending them to a place with restrictions because of the free lifestyle they have at home.  It was also noticeable how many places prefered smaller dogs over big ones like ours.  That is why we welcome all sized dogs,  though numbers will be limited to ensure we provide a more personal service for you and your dog.  Your dog will be well looked after in a secure, rural setting with room to play and sleep. The only requirement is that they must be vaccinated against Kennel cough and Parvovirus, as we need to protect all dog visitors. So if you are planning on needing accommodation for short breaks away or long ones, full days or half days  get in touch so we can see if what we offer will be exactly what you need.
