Hello, 

I am the proud dog-dad to Oslo, our Heeler Jack Russel Cross. He's a ball of energy and the best boy ever. 

I've had dogs my whole life, as well as a slew of other pets throughout like rabbits, mice and rats. Rats are some of the best little pets on the planet, but that's a tangent. I have an genuine love of all animals great and small.

I am looking to take on jobs walking dogs in Wellington. I have strong experience with obedience training, with Oslo knowing dozens of commands; but also with many other dog breeds and different approaches. I offer a gentle walking experience, matching your dogs energy, rather than trying to force them to conform to mine. If your dog is the type to want to run in the bushes, I can facilitate; if your dog wants a gentle stroll along the beach, I can do that; if your dog wants to go for an ocean swim in the middle of winter, I can do that. Whatever floats their boat. 

I am familiar with dogs with injuries, including managing rehab and limited exercise. I have experience with puppy training multiple breeds, and different approaches depending on the pet. Always with a friendly pet first attitude.

I am always more than happy to take your lead on what works best. How your dog beat responds and how to get the best experience for them.

I am based in Miramar, but have extensive knowledge of many great walking locaitons and dog parks all through the green belt and out beyond to the fringes of Wellington. I spend almost every weekend exploring somewhere new with Oslo. 

If your dog is happy for it, they can be joined by our lovely boy, or others, but I'd like to walk no more than 2 at a time. It is far better for their experience to be the focus, and center of attention. As they deserve.

I also offer at home visits where I will enrich your pets day with treats (with your blessing) and play. If you're away, and they need someone around, I am your guy. I love just sitting with dogs, throwing ball, or just giving them a scratch behind the ears and a belly rub. I will make sure they get the attention they deserve. 

I am not offering any services at my house for the time being, only off-site services. I have a very dog friendly car set up, that is easy to clean and safe for any dog of any size to travel to walks. 

I have a great relationship with Kelburn vets, and have a car which will always be available. So even if the worst were to happen, I am always ready. It is best to be safe than sorry.

I am currently available all weekdays and most weekends.
