Hi, I’m Shalini! 😊

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I feel so lucky to have cared for many friends pets over the years. From dogs and cats to chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits, I’ve had hands-on experience looking after all kinds of wonderful pets.

I’ve house and petsat for friends while they were away, as well as popped in to feed their cats or take their dogs for walks when life got busy. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, I’m always happy to help care for their animals.

I also had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the University of Auckland’s Dog Lab, where I assisted with fascinating behavioral studies on dogs and was lucky enough to spend lots of time with so many doggos!

I have a cat named Lyla of my own, which I adore! I also helped raise my brother’s Japanese Spitz, Luna from a puppy, so I know how much love and attention pets need :)

In terms of services, I am happy to do home visits for pets, whether that's just feeding , housesitting and dog walking. Open to discuss cat sitting at my place too, just flick me a message!

I work full time, so after around 5pm on weekdays works best (for dog walking). I'm pretty much always free on the weekends though.

I live in West Auckland, Henderson area but can travel.
