Hi! I'm Sophie. I've recently moved to Auckland and am working full time as a public servant. I did PawShake in Wellington, my home town, for several months and loved it. Now I'm in Auckland and have settled, I'd love to look after your pets and walk your dogs!

I bought a home several months ago and I'm looking to make some extra money to help cover my house expenses, and doing so by caring for animals is my idea of perfect!

I'm a passionate and reliable pet carer/dog walker with hands-on experience looking after a wide variety of domestic animals. From energetic puppies and senior dogs to affectionate lap cats and more independent feline friends, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds, each with their own unique personalities, routines, and needs.

I have extensive experience with both cats and dogs of various breeds and temperaments. Whether it’s a shy rescue cat or a confident one, a lively puppy or an anxious older dog, I take the time to understand each animal’s behavior and comfort level. I approach every pet with patience and kindness, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and at ease - especially in new situations or when their humans are away.

I'm also well-versed in administering medication, including oral treatments, topical applications, and managing special diets. If your pet needs a little extra care due to age or medical conditions, you can trust me to follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated along the way.

Because of how much I adore animals, I treat every animal as if they were my own - offering consistent, attentive, and loving care to give you complete peace of mind.

I also have my own car so can get around easily.
