Hi! I'm Kate, I'm 23 and am a student midwife at Victoria University!

I have always loved animals and have always had them around me. I grew up in the small South Island town of Ashburton and I was always surrounded by pets. Moving to Wellington has been hard being away from them, hence why I thought pet sitting would be perfect for me! I love being around all kinds of animals, they are the best company.

I started pet sitting in high school, my employer at the time had several rescue animals that needed caring for while they were away. I would care for them anywhere from a weekend to a week. They had two animals who needed special care, a cat who had diabetes and a dog who had severe seperation anxiety- so I am well equipped to care for pets who need a little extra care.  I have now been pet sitting in Wellington for 2 years and have cared for pets for all sizes and breeds. It has been an absolute joy.

I can offer a range of pet services, walks (however regular walks may not be doable due to my uni schedule), drop ins and petsitting. I am very reliable and responsible so know your pets will be in great hands with me! As an extra bonus, one of my closest friends is a vet nurse so she can be on hand if your pet has any medical issues you feel need extra attention.
