Hi! We’re Rachel and Joe.

We’re a dog-loving couple based in Ellerslie, sharing our 1930s bungalow with our 5-year-old cavoodle, Teddy (who genuinely believes he’s human). Teddy is super friendly and great with other dogs, so your pup will always have a playful and welcoming companion during their stay.

We both work professionally and often from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Our home is set up perfectly for dog sitting, with a spacious backyard and lawn where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax.

Having grown up with dogs, we genuinely love getting to know different breeds and personalities. We also understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog in someone else’s care — we’ve been in that position ourselves. That’s why we aim to create a home-away-from-home where your dog feels safe, happy, and part of the family.

We regularly look after friends’ dogs and are excited to extend that to others in the area. Whether you need care for a few hours, a full day, or while you’re away on holiday, we’re here to help.

We can also offer pick-up and drop-off for added convenience.
