Hi, my name is Tingting. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up as an only child, animals were a very important part of my childhood. My pets were not just pets — they were my friends, playmates and companions. I grew up with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a parrot and chickens, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Since coming to New Zealand, I’ve also lived with dogs and cats for more than 10 years. 

I live in East Auckland in a house with a fenced backyard, 1 min walk to rotary walkway. The location is perfect for daily walks. I'm currently taking a sabbatical from my job. So I have plenty of flexibility and am available most days to spend time with and care for your fur babies to give them plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks, reading, painting and making arts and crafts. I’m naturally calm, patient and attentive, which helps me build trust with animals at their own pace. 

I don’t currently have any pets of my own, and I really miss having furry friends around — this is one of the reasons I’m so happy to offer pet sitting and home visits. I’ve helped look after friends’ dogs and cats while they’ve been overseas on holiday. I loved spending time with them and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I can also look after smaller pets such as rabbits, birds, fish, depending on their needs.

I’m also happy to help with a few small tasks around your home while you’re away, such as watering plants, opening or closing curtains and bringing in the mail. 

My services include:
🐶 Dog daycare: Daytime care, companionship, playtime, feeding and access to my home and fenced backyard.  

🐶 Dog boarding: Overnight stays in a comfortable home environment, with care and attention throughout their stay and walks according to their usual routine.

📝Couple of notes: Your pets need to be worm and flea free. They must be fully vaccinated and toilet trained.

🐕 Dog walking: Walks are usually at least 30 minutes, depending on their age, fitness, energy level and needs. I enjoy exploring local walking spots such as Rotary Walkway, Farm Cove Reserve, The Boulevard Park, Blue Gum Park, Wakaaranga Creek Reserve, Lloyd Elsmore Park, as well as our local neighbourhood. I’ll choose a suitable route based on their comfort and energy level. I’m also flexible and happy to chat about their routine and work out what suits you and your fur babies best. 

🐱 Cat home visits: One visit to your home to provide food and fresh water, clean the litter box, check on your cat, and give them some company and affection. 

I’d love to welcome your furry babies into my home and give them plenty of care, attention and companionship while you’re away. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be difficult. I'm happy to send you regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy, settled and being well cared for. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable and loved — and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. 🐾
