Kia Ora! My name is Malena and I am a 21 year old uni student who loves dogs and animals. I have grown up around animals my whole life, having had two dogs and a couple of guinea pigs in my family. Since moving to Wellington to study I have been missing my family dog so I am super keen to bring more dogs into my life here! I have picked up volunteering shifts at the SPCA in the adult dog run, which I love, and would really love to start looking after more dogs!  

I have many years of experience dog and cat sitting for a variety of breeds. Volunteering at the SPCA has also given me the opportunity to work with and care for all kinds of dogs, whether it be puppies or grey
muzzles, small or big, energetic or quiet, and I love them all. I am an active person who loves being outside, and what better way to enjoy nature than with a dog by my side!  

I can offer dog walking, as well as cat and dog sitting at your house. I currently live in a non-pet friendly flat so cannot house your dog at my place, but I am definitely able to dog-sit in house for you either overnight or just during the day. I am happy to spend heaps of time with your pet, however I do have a part time job in the CBD and a few classes to attend during university term time. That being said, I am very flexible in my approach and can absolutely personalise my care to you and your pet’s needs! Please feel free to reach out, would love to have a chat!
