We are a dog loving family based on the North Shore of Auckland. We have 3 daughters (23, 21and 17yrs old) who have grown up with pets and are confident with all breeds of dogs and puppies. My husband and I have always had dogs in our families when growing up and have owned a springer spaniel and labradors as adults. We are both teachers and we are available for dog boarding during the school holidays and most weekends. We are a registered SPCA foster family and have had puppies, kittens and cats entrusted to our care.

We have 2 labradors (10 years old) at home, Einstein and Lottie, who are very friendly, low energy, fully vaccinated and desexed.

Our house is fully fenced with a medium size grassed garden and set back from the road. We live near a beach, a park and several bush walks. We will provide dog walks of a minimum of 30 mins once or twice a day, as required by your fur baby.

There is always someone around the home during the school holidays/weekend so your pup will not be left alone. Our labs are allowed on furniture but sleep downstairs seperate from us at night. However, we are happy to provide your dogs preferred sleeping arrangement and even in someone's room so they don't feel lonely.

You can be updated daily with photos so you know your pet is safe and happy. We are happy to do a meet and greet before you book so you can be confident you are making the right decision for your pet.

Your dog will be safe, loved and have lots of attention while they stay. We only take 1 dog at a time to ensure quality care, although if like us you have 2 fur babies then we can consider care on a case by case basis.

Please note that your dog should be neutered/spayed, toilet trained, have up to date vaccinations and be worm and flea free. Puppies under 1 year old will be considered on a case by case basis as we are confident with puppies and happy to continue with any training while you are away.
