A loving home away from home 🐾

I’ve always loved animals and grew up on a farm, so caring for pets has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had dogs around me and absolutely love having them as part of everyday life. After moving to Queenstown, we had to leave our much-loved dog behind in Auckland as he’s getting older, so I’m really looking forward to having some furry company again and giving your pets the same love and care I’d give my own.

While I don’t have professional pet-care experience, I’ve regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats, including pet sitting in the past. I’m responsible, reliable and attentive, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away.

I offer both short- and long-term care and aim to make every stay feel like a home away from home. Your pet will get plenty of love and attention, daily walks and park runs, regular meals, playtime, cuddles and lots of company. I’m also happy to follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise and sleeping arrangements.

I currently care for small to medium-sized dogs. We live in our own home with a fully fenced property, a grassed backyard and plenty of space for a furry guest. It’s a quiet home with just my partner and me, so your pup will get plenty of one-on-one attention.

I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays and have a flexible work arrangement. On the other days, I work from an office in Queenstown CBD where dogs are welcome, so I’m happy to bring your pup along with me rather than leave them home alone all day.

I know leaving your pet with someone else can be daunting, so I’ll always keep you updated with how they’re doing and make sure they’re getting plenty of love, attention and exercise. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, settled and genuinely at home while you’re away. 🐶❤️
