Hi,

I'm available for house sits, home visits and dog walking in Hamilton. I am also available for dog walking and home visits in the Tamahere and Cambridge areas on Mondays.

The animals I have looked after include dogs, cats, fish, chickens, quails, finches, sheep, cattle and a pig. My family owned rabbits and birds when I was a child and I have owned cats and tropical fish as an adult. I love animals and will look after yours as if they are my own. :-)  

I have completed a course in dog and cat first aid and CPR (which is due to be refreshed). 

Until a few months ago I was housesitting pretty much full-time, and did this for more than five years. I am mature, responsible, reliable, clean and tidy, and follow instructions with attention to detail. I don't smoke, vape, or drink, and am not into partying.   

I can usually be home for most of the day. I teach music during some afternoons and early evenings. No students would come to your property.

During home visits I can provide meals, walks, brushing, and company to your pet for at least half an hour per visit. I'm also happy to administer oral medication if needed and take your pet to the vet for injections and check-ups if required. I am available to walk any small dogs, and large dogs only if they are trained to not pull on the lead. I usually keep dogs on the lead, and can take your dog for off-lead exercise in the Cambridge dog park, or other enclosed areas, in your vehicle and at your petrol cost.

During my home visits I'd be happy to bring in the mail, water pot plants, draw curtains and switch lights on and off to help your home look lived in while you are away. I'm open to negotiate additional responsibilities for house sitting, such as garden care.
