Hi! I'm Maureen, a gentle, reliable pet sitter and the devoted human of one very loved cat, Moira. Having her in my life taught me how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and that's exactly why I offer pet sitting: I want other pet parents to feel fully reassured and supported while they're away.

I have several years of hands-on experience caring for cats in a home environment, including daily feeding routines, litter maintenance, playtime, and respecting each cat’s individual boundaries. Through caring for my own cat and looking after pets for friends and family, I’ve learned to read subtle body language and adapt my approach to suit different temperaments.

While I didn’t grow up with animals, becoming a cat owner made me very intentional and informed about pet care. I take the time to understand routines, stress signals, and what helps animals feel safe and settled in a new space. I’m patient, observant, and calm, which tends to work especially well for shy or sensitive pets.

My motivation is simple: I genuinely enjoy giving pets a calm, safe environment and offering owners peace of mind. I only accept friendly, vaccinated pets in my home and limit the number of animals I care for at one time so each pet gets proper attention. I’m very happy to follow detailed instructions and tailor my care to your pet’s specific needs, habits, or quirks.
