Hello, I'm Jenna, a lifelong animal lover! 

My experience with animals is broad - I have owned a variety
of pets throughout my life, from dogs and cats, to geckos, fish and even mice.
I also have professional experience with a range of animals from working at a
Wildlife Park where I was lucky enough to train and care for native birds and
feed and clean up after our resident farm animals and fish.  

Professionally, I have gained my Bachelor’s in Science with
a major in Zoology. I have worked in conservation and ecology providing further
experience with many types of animals. I have a little bit of experience in dog
training through general obedience and exploring Nose Work training with my
current dog, Mac, when he was younger.  

I have a lot of experience caring for dogs through being a
foster mum through the Dog Rescue Dunedin charity, giving pound dogs another
chance to find their forever homes. I looked after puppies from 8 weeks old
through to senior dogs living in their golden days. Fostering was very
rewarding and I'm so grateful that I was able to be involved in helping these
pups to have a second chance! 

Services I can offer:

House-visits and dog walking: As I am working full time, I
can offer house visits before and after work during the week or any time during
the weekends and public holidays. 

Dog walking: I'm happy to adapt to the needs of your dog. I
am a keen hiker and runner and would be happy to have your pet join me for an
adventure in the hills or beach. I'm equally happy with walking your pet in a
location suitable to their needs.  

On top of general care, I can also give medication and do
basic grooming (nails and brushing), on request.  

As a dog mum myself, I understand how difficult it can be to
leave our pets behind when we go away. Which is why it is important to know
that they will be loved and cared for well. I always aim to provide updates in
the form of messages and photos while caring for your pets.
