Kia ora, I’m Hannah. I am a caring, friendly and reliable 31 year old who has just returned home after 6 months overseas. I'm currently living in Island Bay, Wellington and working full time in Wellington CBD. I was always surrounded by animals growing up and since flatting have thoroughly missed their company. I first started pet sitting on Pawshake in 2015 and absolutely loved it! I have met so many lovely people, and their wonderful pets, through this platform and get a lot of satisfaction knowing I can provide stress free care for your furry best friends. I have lots of experience looking after a variety of different animals and my main priority is ensuring your pets are kept happy and safe. After a wee break, I have reactivated my profile and am ready to look after your furry friends.

I currently only offer house sitting. I have a wide range of experience with dogs, including puppies, small and big dogs, and dogs that are reactive/need their space from other dogs, or have leash reactivity. My services can be tailored to suit the needs of your pets. For housesitting, I am more than happy to follow whatever routine you and your pets would normally have. My normal hours I'm away from the house during the week are approximately 0730 - 1700. One of the main reasons I joined Pawshake was to spend as much time with animals as possible, but I will always check how long they can be left alone for so I know if my normal working hours, or any social activities, will suit the needs of your pets.

The main questions I will ask at a meet and greet will mostly relate to what your pet needs in terms of walks, attention, stimulation, medication, training etc. I also have a big focus on keeping your animals safe, so for dogs I will always ask how they are with other dogs/animals, how they are on leash, what their recall is like and whether they like to eat things they shouldn't - in addition to anything else you think I would need to know. I am also more than happy to spend time with your pets after a meet and greet if your pet takes a while to warm up to new people, or if this would give you peace of mind.

I pride myself on being clean, tidy and respectful and will look after your home. I understand there is a huge amount of trust allowing someone to not only look after your pets, but to be in your home as well. The security of your home is important to me and I can assure you I will keep both your home, and pets, safe.

The opportunity to look after your pets would make me so happy, they will be so loved and get plenty of cuddles and pats. You will be kept regularly updated with pictures and messages from me, and if I am unsure or concerned about anything, I will let you know straight away. I am also happy to help with any house related admin during my stay, such as watering the plants, taking out the rubbish, bringing in mail etc.
