Hey there! I'm Paul, 31 and have always had a real love and care for dogs. I have worked in the animal industry for over 5 years now. I previously worked as a Dog Daycare Attendant at 2 daycares and then was Team Leader for a very busy boarding/daycare facility. During that time I've had the pleasure to work with a myriad of dogs breeds and temperments which has provided me with valueable experience with most dogs and their needs! I still work with pets, but in a much more hands off-approach but still regularly provide advice and nutritonal assistance for dogs.

I had my own rescue dog for 10 years who passed away in July 2025. I dealt with many health issues with him as he needed 4 knee surgeries, had skin issues and went partially blind. He was also a big lad sitting at 55kgs as well!

Between my own dog and my experience working with them, I believe this has set me up to be able to thoroughly look after your pets and ensure that their needs are fully met and they are cared for as if they were my own :) As I have the time now, I'd love to be able to continue to look after dogs and want to help out anyone who is needing it!

I'm happy to take dogs of any size and can care for dogs that can be reactive, that are elderly and/or may have medical issues or maybe they just need a more tailored routine to fit their needs. My own dog was reactive after his surgeries and was also part Mastiff so tended to be quite cautious anyway, so I understand what comes with the territory when looking after dogs than can have these tendencies. However, for my safety and your dogs, requests will need to be looked into on a case by case basis.

I do currently work full time just outside of Wellington City: Sun - Thu 9.45am - 6:15pm (not including any commute time) So if you are interested in my services you will need to take this into account to ensure I would be the best fit! I do promise to ensure your pet would be physically and mentally stimulated before I leave for work, and also after I arrive back.
