Hi there! My name is Sandy. Welcome to my profile. I am a 50 something year old mum to 2 fur babies. Both are Tiboodles. That’s a Tibetan Terrier crossed with a poodle. Lexi (the bigger one) is 5 years old and her sister Sophie, is 4 years old. After my love for dogs, the main reason I decided to become a pet sitter is after looking for a sitter myself, I realised there aren’t many in my immediate area! I also wasn’t comfortable leaving my girls at home alone. So I decided to help fill the gap. I have lived with dogs all my life both as a child and an adult. I love them so much. Life is empty without them. I own my home and it is fully fenced and dog friendly. We also have a beach just down the road with a great walking path. I live on my own with my two girls. My son drops by often and all dogs love him. He seems to have the pheromones that dogs can’t get enough of! The main services I offer are boarding in my home, dog walking for ONE dog only. I can only walk 3 dogs at once, and home visits. For overnight stays, your dog would sleep in a crate. Either your own crate from home or I have a spare one here. You would provide your dog’s food, treats, bedding if staying overnight, and any favourite toys you think may help your dog settle. Your dog must be crate trained and toilet trained. If I needed to go anywhere by car, all dogs would come with me. I have never left my dogs home alone and wouldn’t do that to yours either. I would also like to offer emergency care if needed. I know how stressful it can be when an issue arises. The last thing you need is to be worrying about your fur baby. Do contact me and if I'm available then it's no problem to look after your pet while you sort things out. I am happy to give any medication required, as long as I am given clear instructions. Your dog must be up to date with their vaccinations, flea and worm treatment. For their protection as well as my two girls. I also prefer for your dog to be spayed/neutered. Please bring the vaccine records with you for the meet & greet. I would send as many photos and updates to you that you want, so you can see how your fur baby is doing. Your dogs will be treated as if they are my own.
