Hi! I’m currently finishing my Level 4 Animal Management and Welfare course at Ara, where I’ve learnt a strong understanding of animal care, behaviour, and welfare. My love for animals started from growing up with my miniature dachshund and a couple of cats, and rabbits. This is what inspired me to study animal management and learn how to provide animals with the best possible care.

I also have hands-on experience working at a kennel and cattery that provided both daycare and boarding services. I've done also done volunteer hours over the past year at a few places such as Natureland up in Nelson working with rabbits goats and reptiles. SPCA Christchurch animal centre helping with cleaning enclosures, socialising, grooming and helping administering flea medications with cats and rabbits. Cat's protection league helping with enclosure cleaning and medication. Recently started with Bull breed rescue. 

Through this experience, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats and have experience administering oral medication to different breeds. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages and I love to take the time to understand each animal’s individual needs, personality, and routine.

I’m happy to provide pet sitting and general care, including feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, companionship, cleaning up after pets, and administering oral medication when required. I love to make your pets as comfortable and safe as possible when you are away.

I have less hands-on experience with exotic pets such as rodents, rabbits, and birds, but I have learned appropriate care techniques and animal behaviour through my course. I’m very interested in expanding my experience with these animals and would be happy to discuss their individual care requirements beforehand.

My priority is always animal welfare, and I want owners to feel confident knowing their pets are receiving patient, responsible, and loving care.
