Hi, we're Marina and Greg! We live in Prebbleton, a lovely, peaceful neighbourhood where dogs can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable environment. Our home is fully fenced and located at the end of a driveway, offering a quiet and secure space away from passing traffic. We also have a garden where dogs can safely explore, play, enjoy some fresh air, and get their daily exercise. I'm originally from Argentina and moved to New Zealand eight years ago. Dogs have always been my best friends, and when I moved here, there was no way I was leaving my furry baby (Kimie) behind, so we started this adventure together! Our little family includes Kimie, our lovely 11 year old girl, Mojito, our playful 2 year old boy, and Amora, our 3 year old cat. Amora is a confident outdoor cat who enjoys spending most of her time outside, doing her own thing. Over the years, I've realised how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your pets, someone who will love them, care for them, and treat them as their own. That's one of the main reasons Greg and I decided to start pet sitting. We want to give other pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are in safe, loving, and caring hands while they're away. As we have little dogs of our own, we'd love to welcome other small, medium sized dogs into our home. We feel more confident caring for smaller/medium breeds, and we think having dogs of a similar size helps everyone feel comfortable, safe, and happy together. One of the best things about our setup is that your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. I work part-time in an office, while Greg works from home, so there's almost always someone around to keep your furry friend company, give them attention, and make sure they feel comfortable. Our garden is also freely accessible throughout the day, allowing them to enjoy some fresh air, explore, play, or simply relax outside whenever they feel like it. We're both outdoors lovers, happiest when hiking, exploring new tracks, and enjoying nature with our dogs. If your dog stays with us, they'll have plenty of opportunities for exercise, adventures, and fun. But if they're more of a couch loving pup, we're just as happy to enjoy a relaxing day together! We understand that every dog (Like ours) has their own personality, habits and routine. We're happy to follow their usual feeding times, walks, medication and any little routines that help them feel at home. Your pup is also welcome to sleep indoors, including in our bedroom if that's what they're used to. We want them to feel as comfortable and settled as possible, rather than making them adjust to a completely new routine. Before confirming a booking, we're always happy to arrange a meet & greet so everyone can get to know each other. It's a great opportunity for your dog to explore our home, meet our little family and make sure everyone feels comfortable. We also understand how much owners love knowing how their little ones are doing while they're away. If you're anything like me, you'll probably want updates and photos every hour! 😂 We're more than happy to send regular updates throughout the day. And if you're a little more relaxed, a daily update is absolutely fine too. We'll always be happy to keep you in the loop, whatever makes you feel most comfortable. As we're new to offering pet-sitting services, we'd love to add a little extra treat! For stays of more than three nights, we're offering a complimentary bath so your pup can return home fresh, clean, and feeling great! 🛁🐶 We can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family member, whether they stay with us or we look after them in the comfort of their own home.
