Hi there, my name is Brooke and I have been on pawshake for a couple of years now and absolutely love it! I have recently moved back home with my parents in Island Bay so dog sitting is now done by all of us again! 
Experience:
I have a diploma in Veterinary Nursing so I have studied how to handle pets, administer medication, pet behaviour and basic first aid. While I was getting my diploma I worked at the Pet Center where my job was the animal carer. This job involved myself looking after and cleaning the animals and their pens. I have also worked as a dog walker / assistant dog trainer. 
Both of my parents grew up with a wide range of animals and are very comfortable in dealing with dogs. 
Dog Walking (walks are with myself)
due to currently working full time dog walking can be anytime between 3-6pm mon-fri and anytime in the weekends just flick me a message.
dog walking includes:
pick up / drop off
45min walk
$30 for 45mins walk + pickup/drop off

House Stays (house stays are with my parents and I) 
*minimum of two nights*
My parents live in Island Bay which has a fully fenced off backyard with grass and concrete.&nbsp;
animals have to be vaccinated as I do have 2 dogs at home. House stays can be any animal as I have a spare room they can stay in. Dogs that are staying have to be social / confident enough to be around 2 spca specials.

$60/day + $15 for a second dog from same family

My name is Kaitlin my Fiancé and I have recently bought our first home in Johnsonville. We are soon wanting to get a pet of our own. As we have both had many pets growing up.

I'm Emma. I am currently living in Newlands with my partner, Daniel, with our beautiful (albeit goofy) Doberman, Bruce. 
I currently work shift work and find myself with a lot of spare time so have decided to use that time for a more fruitful purpose - spending more time with animals and helping those who might be struggling to get their furry friend enough attention through their busy week. 
Growing up on a farm, I am more than comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have got plenty of experience walking dogs on and off leash (if your comfortable with that). We have a park nearby that I often go to because I never see any other dogs there - great for reactive dogs - but we also have private access to a fully fenced section in Whitby for a safe run around. 
We have wooden floors and a large back yard at home so I'm more than happy for dogs to come and hang out here for the day too. Obviously we would need to introduce them to Bruce but I can do that myself in a slow way to ensure both dogs get along fine! 
Prior to shift work, my partner and I both worked Monday to Friday so I know first hand how difficult it can be to arrange care for your animals. I'm happy to walk your animals, take them to the park, pop in to toilet them or just spend some time with them at yours or mine.

Hi There! I'm Jordan. I'm 27, originally from the UK, but have been lucky enough to call Wellington home for the past 3 years and counting. I am an engineer but now work as a project manager in a consultancy focusing on decarbonisation (reducing emissions and climate change).&nbsp;
I love dogs and grew up with two Great Dane dogs - Guinness and Bailey. Guinness "Good Dog" was a loyal angel and Bailey "Bad Dog" was a daredevil with puppy energy until the end. I miss them both so much and as I can't have pets in my NZ rental property, I am looking to expand out to provide an affordable pet sitting or house sitting service to get my doggy fix!
I am looking for opportunities to provide house sitting, pet visits, dog walking opportunities or anything that allows dog time/cuddles and helps you out! Somewhere near me in Mount Vic would be ideal, but I have a car so can travel in Wellington. I am more available in the evenings after 5pm or on the weekends.&nbsp;Note that I am in the process of buying a house in churton park, so hopefully from July onwards I can also provide dog boarding / doggy day care services in my 3 bedroom house!
For home visits / sitting I can stay for as short or as long as required, depending on location and my availability. I am open to overnight / multi-day stays and would be able to look after plants and get the mail etc as well as looking after pets. I have a lot of plants myself and have a bit of a green thumb!&nbsp;
For dog walks, I can do as short or as long as required, up to 1 hour maximum. I live in Mount Victoria so have easy and close access to the waterfront and beach areas like Oriental Bay for dog walking but I am also open to exploring new places and can walk near / around your local neighbourhood or routes!
