I am 32 years of age and work in a corporate role on a typical 8am-1pm schedule in Auckland city, combined with freelance work in the afternoons. Since I am trying to save for buying a car of my own, I am petsitting, housesitting and dog walking on the side for some additional income.
Since growing up with pets in the house, I have a great love for animals and enjoy activities that involve the company of animals in my spare time.
I have house- and pet-sat for multiple clients including owners of dogs, cats, fish, bunnies and birds so far. With a really positive track record. I've been called back on multiple occasions for continued services as I've proven I am trustworthy, respectful of property and very caring of animals.
Although I don’t have transport of my own just yet, I am free to travel by public transport within the North Shore and Auckland CBD region.
What can I offer?
- Residing in Browns Bay with my partner who happens to also love dogs, we are able to open our home to dogs for day visits and overnight stays.- House sitting - this would include upkeep of general household things such as ensuring all plants are watered and mail are brought in. I can do daily visits in the Auckland central region (close to public transport), or stay-overs for extended periods of time, depending on the need.
- Pet sitting - this would include house sitting and taking care of your pets in their usual environment and routines. I could do daily visits to locations close to Auckland CBD/Browns Bay, or stay-overs as required. This would include ensuring your pets get the attention they will be missing in your absence, ensuring they are fed / groomed / walked / played with / cuddled with as per their usual routine, and ensuring all their other facilities are looked after such as poop scooping, oral medication, etc.&nbsp;
- Dog walking - 30-60minute sessions, depending on the need. I'd be available to do so in Auckland CBD weekdays only, or in North Shore regions close to public transport over weekends as well.

I have a strong love for all animals and would love to get a dog of my own but that isnt an option at this time so i thought why not help others with theirs. However, I have always had a dog growing up upland until recently, my last dog sadly passed away last year at age 16. She was a high energy dog and had to be walked daily, if not twice daily! I understand how important it is for a dog to get its daily exercise.I have 2 school aged kids so I have a lot of free time during to pick and drop off your four legged friend. I will try a find new places to regularly so we both won't get board. I enjoy nature walks, beach walk and just simple local walks if your pooch isn't up for a big walk - even the old doggys need walking. I am offering pet minding and dog walking in Matakatia and surrounding areas. I'm mature, trustworthy and reliable. I am an animal lover and understand how important it is to know your pets are well cared for when you are away. I have experience looking after cats, hens, rabbits &amp; sheep at their homes.&nbsp;
I would consider having a dog at our property for "daycare", we have approx 2 acres and have a mix of farm fencing, so this would not suit escape artists. We have a lab, hens, sheep, cats and a bunny, so we would need to be very mindful of only taking on dogs that are not going to chase our pets! Careful consideration would be made to ensure it's a good fit for both your dog and us :) &nbsp;
