I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have overnight experience with a 3 year old schnauzer poodle and a 2 year old german shepherd. I have also regularly walked a young golden retriever boy who is full of life and energy. Dogs are a huge part of my family.
Since I was a kid my house has been full of dobermans, Australian shepherds, terriers, border collies, you name it! My family are big into rescuing dogs and giving them a second chance at a happy life. 
I love to see dogs happy, whether that means taking them outdoors, playing, cuddles, or making sure they're comfortable at home. I am super attentive and loving sitter. I understand just how important a dog can be to a family and I take great responsibility in caring for them! I am on this app as it's a great side hustle for me to do something I love while also helping out people who need an extra pair of hands, or just some peace of mind while they're aways from their pets.
I live in a large shared flat in central wellington. The property is entirely fenced off, with trees, a deck, and a tiled landscaped area out the back.

We are Sanda &amp; Luka, dog sitters from Wellington, both in our 30s and both working from home!
We love looking after dogs and our dog, and best mate Monty, loves meeting new friends so we are always on the lookout for opportunities to spend more time with these beautiful pets. We were house &amp; pet sitting in the past, took care of dogs in our home and as we have a dog, we know how important it is to have a trustworthy and reliable sitter.&nbsp;
When staying with us your dog will be treated as our own. We will only look after one dog (and Monty) at a time. Your dog will be supervised at all times and will not be left alone. We are available during the week and on weekends. You can drop-off and pick-up your pet at time agreed during the booking confirmation.&nbsp;
During your dog's stay we will go for two walks; on a work day we will go for a walk in the morning (30min) and during the lunch break (1 hour). If your dog is staying with us on a Saturday or Sunday we will be out and about most of the day. We will go to the beach, walk around the park or hike up the hill. There will always be time for some fetch, tug of war and plenty of coudles too!  
We live in a pet-friendly apratment building in the central city. We work from home all week and have time to look after your dog when you can't. Your dog will love our place. There is enough space to play, relax and sleep, (they can sleep wherever they want, Monty will happily share his space with his new friend).&nbsp;
We will send you lots of photos for peace of mind. &nbsp;
All you need to bring is your dog's lead, food and anything else you think they might need.
Requirements: To be able to stay with us your dog would need to be potty trained, vaccinated, desexed and regularly treated against fleas and ticks.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kia ora, I'm Janine (female, English, mid 40s) and I love animals and I have cared for a variety of animal species, which includes walking a mountain lion for 8 hours a day in the Bolivian jungle for a month, as well as volunteering with monkeys, caimens, dogs, an otter and coatis. I have also volunteeed at the Wellington Zoo, NZ and a zoo in Texas, USA. I have also completed month long house sitting for a few people in New Zealand which included beautiful cats and some chickens and I did a bit of gardening for the home owners too, I  still regularly house and pet sit for two of the families.
I am interested in supporting you with your pet needs either in your home or in mine. I have a two bedroom home which I live in with a friend, a back garden, which is fenced however this is only approx 3-4ft high,&nbsp; so please take this into account when booking and consider your pets needs, HRV and a heat pump. I am based in Trentham, Upper Hutt with flexible working arrangements, which include working from home a few days a week.What can I offer dog owners? Up to two dogs from the same home; Dog walking lengths will depend upon your dog,&nbsp; though I am training for a marathon so long walks are an option if needed, and I love hiking too; Two dog walks per day; depending on your dogs needs I can administer medicine; Sleeping arrangements/requirements are to be discussed for your dog.What can I offer cat owners? My preference is to visit your home to care for your cat, feed then and give cuddles, this can be an overnight arrangement or once a day.&nbsp;

I am an experienced pet sitter / walker / carer and animal connoisseur, available for one-off or recurring jobs. 
I've always loved animals growing up and owned a range of pets as a child; I started small and used to collect snails, praying mantis's and other bugs (weird, I know) before graduating to actual pets such as finches, budgies, cockatiels, several bunnies (my favourite animal) and eventually a big black Labrador named Spike! 
Since moving out of home and flatting, I've unfortunately not had the opportunity to own a pet, but I always jump at the chance to take care of my friends animals (mainly dogs) when they are heading out of town and need a sitter - so this app allows me to combine the best of both worlds!
I've outlined some specifics about my services below, so please get in touch if you think i'd be a good fit for your needs and for your furry friend!
Dog Walking: 
I am a fit outdoorsy person (thanks in part to tramping and my keenness for running/walking). Weather permitting, I tend to walk or run between 8-10km around the bays or South Coast - so a perfect companion for dogs that require a fair bit of exercise. I can tailor this to suit the pup i.e if it's a smaller dog that only requires minimal exercise. Either way, I'll be doing some sort of walk and happy to do it at a time that suits. I'm confident in handling two pups at a time.
Dog Boarding: 
I live in a secure flat with two other flatmates who are confident and happy to be around animals. The flat itself would be suitable to board one small-sized dog at a time (we occasionally dog-sit for my flatmates parents pup). In the weekdays I occasionally work from home, but I am mostly available over Fri-Sun for boarding, as I will be at home for the majority of the time and can be more flexible and integrate dog-minding into my existing weekend routine. The property would not be suitable for a large dog given the space and the fact that we don't have a backyard. 
Dog-minding at owner's property: 
I am comfortable to mind pets at the owners property, dependant on proximity and requirements. I have experience doing a month long-stint dog sit. Happy to chat further on specifics!

I'm Emma. I am currently living in Newlands with my partner, Daniel, with our beautiful (albeit goofy) Doberman, Bruce. 
I currently work shift work and find myself with a lot of spare time so have decided to use that time for a more fruitful purpose - spending more time with animals and helping those who might be struggling to get their furry friend enough attention through their busy week. 
Growing up on a farm, I am more than comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have got plenty of experience walking dogs on and off leash (if your comfortable with that). We have a park nearby that I often go to because I never see any other dogs there - great for reactive dogs - but we also have private access to a fully fenced section in Whitby for a safe run around. 
We have wooden floors and a large back yard at home so I'm more than happy for dogs to come and hang out here for the day too. Obviously we would need to introduce them to Bruce but I can do that myself in a slow way to ensure both dogs get along fine! 
Prior to shift work, my partner and I both worked Monday to Friday so I know first hand how difficult it can be to arrange care for your animals. I'm happy to walk your animals, take them to the park, pop in to toilet them or just spend some time with them at yours or mine.

Hi There! I'm Jordan. I'm 27, originally from the UK, but have been lucky enough to call Wellington home for the past 3 years and counting. I am an engineer but now work as a project manager in a consultancy focusing on decarbonisation (reducing emissions and climate change).&nbsp;
I love dogs and grew up with two Great Dane dogs - Guinness and Bailey. Guinness "Good Dog" was a loyal angel and Bailey "Bad Dog" was a daredevil with puppy energy until the end. I miss them both so much and as I can't have pets in my NZ rental property, I am looking to expand out to provide an affordable pet sitting or house sitting service to get my doggy fix!
I am looking for opportunities to provide house sitting, pet visits, dog walking opportunities or anything that allows dog time/cuddles and helps you out! Somewhere near me in Mount Vic would be ideal, but I have a car so can travel in Wellington. I am more available in the evenings after 5pm or on the weekends.&nbsp;Note that I am in the process of buying a house in churton park, so hopefully from July onwards I can also provide dog boarding / doggy day care services in my 3 bedroom house!
For home visits / sitting I can stay for as short or as long as required, depending on location and my availability. I am open to overnight / multi-day stays and would be able to look after plants and get the mail etc as well as looking after pets. For dog walks, I can do as short or as long as required, up to 1 hour maximum. I live in Mount Victoria so have easy and close access to the waterfront and beach areas like Oriental Bay for dog walking but I am also open to exploring new places and can walk near / around your local neighbourhood or routes!
