Hi there!

I am Sharon, a 29 year old designer who absolutely loves our four legged friends. I am based in central east Auckland. I have grown up with 2 x Burmese cats and have spent many days at friends houses meeting their dogs and taking them to the beach. I have spent many summers successfully petsitting for people I know, and this has led to ongoing referrals.

I get so much joy meeting new pets and learning what works best for their routine. I understand that some pets need a lot of TLC whilst others just may prefer company from a distance and their food bowl to be topped up regularly.

Dog walking services include:

• Going to your home and taking your dog for a walk for 30 to 45 minutes
• I can walk your dog around your suburb. Alternatively, if you have a specific route, or a beach or park nearby that you would prefer for me to take your dog, I am happy to walk them there.
• I will provide good communication with owners
• Sending photos, messages or necessary updates regarding your dog to the owner
• Making sure your dog has lots of water and I will clean up after dog (please make sure bags are provided with lead)
• Accessing your house securely and ensuring everything is locked before leaving

When walking your dog I will keep them on their leash during the walk. If you are comfortable for me to take your dog off leash in the appropriate areas then I am happy to do so. I will also make sure I follow your instructions on access to the property to pick up your dog if you are not home.

Home visits include:

• Spending 30 minutes with your pet
• Feeding your pet and ensuring there is plenty of water available
• Administering any oral medication required - please provide clear instructions

Availability: I have a flexible schedule at the moment so I am available mornings 7:30am - 12pm and evenings between 4:30-7:30pm for walks or home visits during the week. I can be available in the afternoons too if I am given notice in advance.

I have lots of experience caring for older pets. My cat Romeo required a lot of oral medicine and care towards the end of his life.

I am responsible, reliable and flexible. I have my own car and a full license.

I would love to meet some new furry friends and look after whether that be feeding them, taking them for walks and spending some time to play.
