I’m Natalia, living in Birkdale (North Shore) with my 10‑year‑old son and our cat. We have recently moved to New Zealand from Europe, and our dog is still in Estonia and will join us later. I’ve grown up with animals and have cared for cats and dogs for many years. Animals for me are family members, and I take their safety and comfort very seriously.

I work in IT, so I know what responsibility and reliability mean. When I look after someone’s pet, I treat their routine and needs with the same care as I treat my work and my child. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I enjoy spending quiet, focused time with animals – walking, playing, just being present with them.

I’m best suited to caring for friendly, non‑aggressive dogs and cats who are used to living in a home environment. Very large or reactive dogs may not be the right fit at this stage. I don’t currently offer full boarding at my house, but I’m happy to come to your home in Birkdale / nearby areas.

I speak both English and Russian, so I’m happy to communicate in whichever language is more comfortable for you.

I’m new to dog walking on Pawshake, but not new to caring for animals. I’m happy to start gently and build trust with you and your pet.

For dog walking, I normally offer 30‑minute walks from your home around your neighbourhood. This is a good amount of time for most dogs to get outside, move, sniff and reset. If you ever need a longer walk (up to about 60 minutes) for a more active dog, we can discuss it and arrange a custom booking so that the timing and price make sense for both of us.

During each walk or visit I can send you photos and/or short video clips, plus a quick message, so you know how your pet is doing. If anything unexpected happens (for example your dog seems unwell or something unusual occurs), I will contact you straight away and follow the instructions you’ve given me. I’m not a vet, but I will keep you informed and help you organise whatever needs to be done.
