👋 I’m Laura, a 40-ish professional who works flexibly from home/city office/airport during the working week.

I’ve had the pleasure of looking after Flash, a speedy schnauzer who definitely lived up to his name! I’ve also had the joy of puppy-sitting Mav, an energetic pup, while his family was at work. Now, I’m excited to get my dog fix by offering my care to others’ pets, without the full commitment of a new dog just yet.

I’m happy to care for all types of pets, including those with special needs. I’m experienced in looking after diabetic cats and pets with other health concerns, so I’m always prepared to provide the extra care and attention they may require.

Based in Onehunga, I’m available to travel around greater Auckland to care for your pets. Here’s what I offer:

• Dog Walking (60 minutes): A fun, energizing walk for your dog with regular updates and photos, so you can see how much they’re enjoying the adventure.

• Home Visits (30 minutes): I’ll check food and water, clean litter boxes, and follow any specific instructions you have for your pet’s care, ensuring they’re well taken care of.

• Overnight & Daytime Stays: Whether it’s for a long working day or overnight, I’ll provide full care, including feeding, playtime, and any necessary medical attention (e.g., administering medication, checking welfare of diabetic cats).

My home may be small, but it's safe with a fully fenced backyard & pets can be separated in the bathroom if needed. 

• House Sitting: Need someone to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home? I offer house sitting services, where I’ll stay in your home, look after your pets, and maintain your space, ensuring your pets stay in their familiar environment while you’re away.

I’m an animal lover at heart, and I miss my small dog, Lulu, who sadly passed over the rainbow bridge earlier this year.
