Hi! My name is Sophia, I'm 26 and from Derbyshire in the UK. I currently live in Richmond, Christchurch and I am a freelance photographer (meaning you'll get plenty of doggo pics from walks!) Richmond is great as there are plenty of green spaces to walk/run through, however I do enjoy a walk around Hagley Park and Bottle Lake Park too. There are plenty of places to walk near me but I can go wherever - although I do think dogs like the trails and parks more!

Absolutely love dogs which is my main motivator to become a pet sitter/walker. From February to March last year, I house sat and looked after a lively (but fun) cocker spaniel which I thoroughly enjoyed. This included 2 walks at least 30 minutes long, feeding twice a day, regularly playing with her and making sure she was sticking to her usual routine. This was a young dog and so making sure she adhered to the house rules that her owner had set was essential. I have also regularly looked after other dogs including labradors, cockapoos, a shih tzu, a vizsla, siberian husky, bedlington terriers and others. This has been at other houses as well as my own.

I will be able to walk dogs at any point at the day at the moment, for everyday of the week. I can offer dog walking and sitting, able to do overnight stays too. For home visits I will be able to do other little jobs such as watering plants if needed! I am very reliable and always lock doors and windows before leaving my own house and others too.

I’ve had a dog for over 10 years myself who I miss greatly now that I am the otherside of the pond, so pet sitting and walking has been a great way to have a doggo fix, get outside with them and give them all the love while their owners are away!
